The BEST Fuel Additive for your Diesel Truck ; 2022 Ram 2500 Cummins

Well guys by far this has been my best experience with any diesel fuel additive that I don't think many people know about (certainly I didn't). Nothing against any other products at all, this has just done wonders for my truck and runs completely different.
Let me know down below you run anything and if you've had good or bad luck with it!

I run Hot Shot LX4 lubricant additive, mainly for the CP4, in a 22, 6.7 SD. Not opposed to trying Stanadyne tho. Thanks for the video. God bless.

I run the Stanadyne stuff too, in a german diesel car. Since i've used the additive since day 1, its hard to say whether my fuel economy has improved however, I can definitely say the car is quieter when with the additive, less knocking noises from the few times i had to drive a few miles home without additive.

Trust me, its for real. Mine failed the "jiggle" test. Tore into it and found the bolt had separated just under the head. There was a washer that was working its way out. It was held in by pressure from the bracket between the cable and the heater. I'm glad I didn't ignore the check engine light.

I always run schaeffers products in my diesels, in my 2021 ram I run a mix of carbon treat and fuel treat, the carbon treat helps with regens and the carbon build up, definitely notice a difference the truck doesn’t regen as much. I’ve been running it since the truck was new…. I’m outta Northeast Ohio as well. Medina

I use the Stanadyne not for mpg but for fuel integrity. My truck does sit in the garage and is not an everyday truck. I can only assume that is what it’s doing…lol

Have you tried just adding a quart of ATF in your tank? I have a '95 7.3 eclb and change my oil every 5k but once a year i change it at 1k then 4k after that to kind of engine flush. Run it down the road, drain fuel filter housing, fill with seafoam then isn't for just a few seconds to get it into the injection system. Runs a little better right after. Getting 17mpg at 7500# 33" tires and 4.10:1 gears.

The overhead MPG display is nothing more then a "lie-o-meter". If you really want to know what your fuel economy is, you need to run 4-5 full tanks of fuel through your truck and had calculate the mileage.

This is outdated info that’s been passed down for 20 years. It was true about 15-20 years ago. They stopped. None of it is accurate, including your hand calculation because gasoline expands a lot in warm weather and vapor canisters. If you fill on a warm day and then refill on a cold day, the fuel in your tank is more compact (remember, gallon is a volume, not a weight) which means you are putting in more gas than you would on a warm day which messes up your accuracy. Another thing is that the vapor canister vents off gasoline so you lose gas over time, the longer between fill ups, the more you lose to the air. Lastly, 75% of vehicles in the US have plastic gas tanks which also expand and contract up to a liter with temperature changes, so again, the amount you pump to get to full varies at each fill up.

@stevehirjak7824 Why are you talking about gasoline expansion & vapors when there's nothing gasoline related in the video. Also, a computer controlled fuel injector delivering a measured amount of fuel to travel a specific distance is a very accurate measure of fuel usage. Fuel is delivered by volume based on calculated density. So yes, it's VERY accurate.
