Thank you!!!!! I watched this last night and tried it this morning with another gel primer since I didn’t have the milk primer on hand. Although I’m sure it’ll work better with the milk primer, it actually worked with my gel drugstore primer! I’m 42 and foundations love to settle into my wrinkles. I’ve been looking for ways to make my skin appear more plump, and this trick did it! I did spf, sprayed my alcohol free Mac “setting” spray, let it dry, and then I followed this gel/foundation mix trick and it went on like glass and stayed that way for 5 hours now. Thank you so much!

I don’t know if you’ve tried already, but if you haven’t then please try the foundation brush c42 by Rose and Ben beauty. The best brushes ever. The fibers don’t absorb product & blends like a dream. Must must must try!

Can we use elf power grip primer with our foundation?

Hi Nina, just turned 40, with fine lines and wrinkles and I am struggling with my foundation looking a little too much for my age. I've tried several of your techniques and so far I love them. Any other advise? My skin was combo but it's not too oily anymore, bigger pores in cheek/ nose area. What would be the recommendation for me, I've come to enjoy the armani silk foundation the best but my old concealers aren't the greatest.

I did the powder hack for my graduation makeup and it made my makeup look so good and last long! Instead of the CT hydrating mist, I used the Caudalie beauty elixir and it worked well!

The problem I’m having is I apply my products in this order: one serum on damp skin (hyaluronic acid),eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen and elf power grip. The powder grip appears to be lifting my sunscreen. How do I fix that? I always wait several minutes before applying the power grip (10 mins)

Love your hacks , wanted to ask how you use concealer before foundation but in these hacks you Didnot use concealer instead have put foundation under the eye so is that ok? Also if someone has dark circles then how do we do it? Thank you

I work 12 hour shift and I tried the powder trick .. I do have Mature skin and dry. But I dont have wrinkles yet! on face. Neck is a different story. But i do like the hack just the powder did cake up when took a closer look in mirror. No on face but on forehead. Should i put more moisturizer on. I put vit c serum and hydrachloronic serum and moisturizer on . I cant do make up all over again because have to leave to my night shift soon. Any suggestions lay it on me.

Ok…. I liked you before but today you’re on my love list. I’m not a full coverage girl, more a skin tint type but I’m still obsessed with base products… so, I’ve got combo skin, use tret nightly, so can be pretty dry/dehydrated but don’t like a dewy look all over as I have an oily tzone. I’ve had the Dior backstage foundation (the original version) in my collection for ages and couldn’t use it as it just looked dry on my skin no matter how well I prepped. Today, I mixed my NYX hydrating jelly primer with it and initially I was 😣 as the texture was lumpy and weird due to the primer. I’d already mixed it on the back of my hand, so went for it anyway. Well, it looks beautiful. Undetectable, just my skin but even and healthy. Not shiny or super dewy, just healthy and even and totally undetectable. Cannot thank you enough for inspiring me to try the Dior with my gel primer.
