But I do miss Greg and his bass, AND his voice, of course.

From my 1st exposure to ELP I loved Keith. To this day whenever I hear one of their songs I can't resist moving my fingers to mimic Keith's sounds. And I can't play the piano. I do the same when I hear great bass rifs. I was blown away by Entwistle's licks coz I never knew he could play like this. Awesome! I saw ELP in 1977. What a "Lucky Man" I was. And the anniversary of Keith's death is bittersweet for me coz my wife passed away a week before he did. RIP Keith. RIP John. RIP wifey. Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...

Michael Shimp that's what hooked me on ELP, studying classical piano, then heard ELP, kinda kicked the classics into high gear for me.
THUNDERFINGERS!!!!!! BEST ROCK BASSIST OF ALL TIME!!!!!! (played with the best band too!)
You know what this lineup is? Muhammad Ali on drums, Muhammad Ali on bass, Muhammad Ali on guitar, Muhammad Ali on keys and Muhammad Ali on guitar. THIS --- IS THE MONSTERS OF ROCK…
No one forgot.He was amazing.
Let's give some credit to the man who wrote this work in 1942 for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra...maybe America's best composer...Aaron Copland!!!!
Simon Phillips on the kit, no slouch there. RIP Keith.. nobody did it like him

RIP. Master of your trade. Will be remembered for your wonderful music. No one did it better.
RIP Keith - this was a dream band.
Man I love those days when Keyboard Players stood in between Mountains of Equipment ...
2023 and this still rocks. What a line-up! Still one of my all time favourite songs.
Man, look at this talent on stage. Awesome. Emerson was a genius.
I had the pleasure of seeing Emerson, lake and Powell awesome and talented group and unfortunately both entwistle who died of an overdose and Emerson who committed spiced RIP my brothers and long live rock and roll, my best regards to all you fans sincerely, freshness personified!!!
I felt my soul leave my body listening to this.
The bass player is doing the heavy lifting and look Who it is. Sounds great
Joes still.....the man....Simon..hardest working man....
Simply the best - Been watching since the Nice - his fingers fly - I don't recall anyone like him in my life (and he is a super nice person)!
This epic, especially Entwistle's bass playing. Maybe as good as any bass player ever he had such a crisp, distinct sound

Love the smiles & pure joy these men are having just playing music. Not a job or responsibility, just 4/5 guys having fun up there.
RiP Keith, Maestro, Genio Forever!!!!!!
what a great and inspiring tune Aaron Copland composed. I am sure he would have enjoyed this interpretation
One other thing I noticed they seem to be having so much FUN.
blasting out all E.L.P. tunes at 2000 watts per... god rest, and you'll be missed
Happy birthday, Keith! RIP
Fantastic show, saw both ELP and The Who in concert in the mid '70's, two best concerts I' ve ever attended.
I was lucky enough to do sound for this group. First day of rehearsal Keith had his huge keyboard rig John had his huge bass rig Simon had a big drum kit and Joe walks in and had me go get his pig nose amp (probably smallest amp ever made) they were amazing!!!

what a line-up!!!! wish I was there!!
So great to see Keith having such a ball up there on stage. This version of the song has a totally different energy than the ELP version. Both are amazing, and as much as i love Greg Lake and his bass playing, I have to say I have never seen anyone play the bass like John Entwhistle did in this. Love it!! But I do miss Greg and his bass, AND his voice, of course.
Amazing. Thanks Keith, RIP. Simon Phillips adds so much to this and indeed the concert. Not sure 26 years on about the head band! What fabulous musicians.

Simon Phillips was drummer for The Who on their 1989 tour, first and only time I got to see them. It was pretty amazing show. I'm not sure how I missed this thing back in the 1990s I had no idea! As "super groups" go, this bunch really was The Best. RIP Keith and Ox.
RIP to a true pioneer. So fortunate to have seen you play 3 times. Just shocked and saddened beyond words.
one of THE most powerful music experiences around. I just LOVE this....
RIP Keith, you were such a beast on the keys.
I remember hearing what I know now to be Keef playing "America"; outside Harlow swimming pool by a guy in a green MG Roadster on a cassette tape back in 1967. That piece of music influenced my entire life; strangely enough. It somehow made me start to think about everything. I was ten years old! Fanks Keef! Respect to you. Pauly.
Man that was awesome WaS hoping to see ELP one more time. Seen them 19 times
This is blowing MY mind!!! I love it Combination of talent here, omg!
Did everyone forget that bassest John Estwistle is gone forever too? Best bass player that ever was.

It was the suckiest year ever for rock. We lost so many greats I am too sad to keep count. All we can hope for in the next life: "you know they've got a hell of band." *sigh*

Yeah I don't get it, I mean George Duke was a much better keyboardist than Emerson but no one has even been able to approach Entwistles level on bass

How in the world did these people get on stage at the same time??? What WAS this event? Wow..... just awesome!
I always knew Emerson was amazing....I've never seen Entwistle play like that! Incredible!!

Thunders AND Keith rockin fanfare on a triton extreme!!! JOB DONE ✅🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The BEST. A hidden gem that has to be mined to be appreciated. They played in Hawaii and Japan and were done! Thank goodness they made a video! I'd hate to see such talent fall to the wayside.

If I could... I would press the "like" button thousand times!
THE BEST OF ALL THE REST !! LOVE AND MISS YOU SO MUCH KEITH R.I.P.

this album needs to be on itunes!
Joseph Walsh, one of thee original red, white, and blue meanies
The shit you find on youtube, its amazing. Not long ago watched pete townsend playing with the Dead. Unreal.
The bass is amazing!
Keith straordinario ❤️
Wow, what an amazing band - so many great heroes on stage. So sad, Keith and John are no longer with us. But what a great version, what a feast of genius
Astonishing rock performance. One for the ages.
I admire drummers for their sheer physical endurance.
This is a performance by grownups, who master their instruments and have disciplined fun. Great, and thank you for uploading.
I'ts just to damm of a shame they didn't play alot longer with a lineup of John Enthwistle, Keith Emerson, Simon Philips, Jeff Skunk Baxter and last but not least Joe Walsh. Had they played the states they would have blown people's minds yeah i agree 100% from these pro's and they indeed deliver hands down The Best!

0_O Holy crap. Mind=Blown. This was a SMOKIN' version of this song, and John Entwistle really was in a league of his own as far as bassists are concerned. Everyone shreds in this vid. haha!
