It's in his eyes too.The way he looks back and forth between you and your Ghost is literally textbook example for who people look at the things they love

No matter how many times I watch people play this, it never gets old or less emotional. 😭✨

Man what an adventure. The thing that made me cry is how the guardian pleaded with the traveler to bring back ghost and how relieved he was when ghost was back

3:45 I originally thought that scream was The Witness as we poured Light into him, but no. That's Ghost screaming. You can see in the upper right. 7:23 And now you realize why they showed that clip at the beginning of the campagin, of Ghost finding us and saying, "There you are!"

I guess Caydes teasing Crow about his haircut really got to the guy lol 🤣😭 RIP the Goat

I literally cry ever time I see this mission

The fact that I almost started sobbing with the ending says a lot. The last time that I cried while playing a video game was around two years ago when I listened to the Song of Mourning: the Eternal Wind for the first time (PSO2: NG), and I haven't been brought close to that moment since... until now, anyway 😭

Final Fantasy 14 got me several times. One scene was the first time a game got me _ugly_ crying (Giving an old dog the best gift possible). It also was the first time tears started pouring down my face _during_ a boss fight. Destiny 2 nearly got me two times: Rasputin's sacrifice, and our Guardian pleading, "...Ghost?"

Man I am SO glad that this expansion landed as well as it did, I remember watching your video holding out hope for this expansion after the layoffs and feeling exactly the same, even though a lot of my clan became almost aggressively negative towards the game. Lowkey started to think I was the crazy one. Glad to see all of us believers were actually onto something, couldn't be happier with how all of this turned out. Here's to another 10 years! o7

Dude they nailed it. Especially in the cutscene where mara speaks and at the end we get the "the final battle with the witness approaches" screen. And the last cutscenes. The bossfight. Insane

I love how EVERYONEs reaction ive seen to ghost dying and then cayde bringing him back is sobbing and crying. I'm not crying yoire crying

So much pain in this those moments with Ghost and Cayde were made all worth it to see the Human and Eliksni kids playing together with a Cabal pup and laughing together.

this is the first time this game has ever made me cry. bravo, bungie. see yall in echoes.

My favorite part of this mission was playing it at 10fps on my Xbox. Truly a destiny moment

Yeah, one of the known issues is that Xbox users were having thermal errors. That’s unfortunate for Xbox. PC and Sony seem to do fine

Probably the best story in the franchise

This story is absolutely peak! I’ve never felt more satisfied with an ending.

I love how their is so many different Audio Cues for Saint's arrival as he puts the Bubble up. My favorite is from Cayde when he says "Wait... is that Saint-14? He's alive? AND NOBODY TOLD ME!!??" XD

Idk why but ghost saying "Guardian... there you are!" Hits me every time. 😭

It's crazy the fact that they added the d1 and d2 vanilla music back in the tower

9:20 I always kept the helmet settings to off in non combat zones and I’m glad. I feel like seeing your guardians face during cutscenes adds to them.

Taniks saga good ending: Zavala lets him stay at his old home. He is no longer without house

The last time i teared up at a game, was red dead redemption and this. This did again it again im not gonna lie.

This was the closest I got to crying in 3 years... Thank you Bungie

it felt earned, ive played since the beginning of d1 all the way up till now, it felt like i earned this ending after all the hours ive put into d1 and d2 combined, it feels like ive actually fought in these wars in destiny cause of how much time has past, and seeing our characters have the chance to rest is so rewarding

I’m sure they’ve hidden something in here to hint at what comes next, and my guess is that we heard the winnower. When you kill the Witness, it says “We” as if it’s gonna say “we don’t understand”, but then it says “I-I don’t understand” with the voice slowly changing into something that still doesn’t quite sound like the angry witness voice, but deeper. Maybe the winnower spoke through the witness in this mission as we beat what it probably thought was its unstoppable first knife. I think the Witness said I a few times in the raid too, so maybe that that was also the winnower talking then.

Even though I started playing in early 2018 I'm glad I was here for it all. Thank U for memes and memories. Aksula-1 I'll keep watching your videos. And I finally got my PC I might dig myself into the whole of content creation it well fun. and again thanks. Mithrax117: I'll see you starside.

This ending is the best

fr it is the best ending i could have wished

@@mdamonc you can find it on YT. Basically our Guardian resurrects our Ghost by ourselves by combining Light and Dark together once again, similar to how we gained Prismatic. No Cayde sacrifice, no sadness, just straight up establishing us as able to revive our own Ghost (in theory). The much worse ending out of the two imo

Although we didn't get to see the guardian die, which is what I hoped for, but still. Final Shape ended the light and dark saga in an amazing way. Our ten year long adventure, closed in a comfortable and satisfying way. And "You're my favorite...don't ever forget that." Is my new favorite Cayde quote. Thank you bungie for this amazing story.

@@obluzzionn dunno if you already found it but yes you can, go to the pale heart map, choose excision and where you usually choose the difficulty, you can choose "epilogue" to watch the cutscene again

Funny. A lot of people have chosen to wield the Outbreak for this fight. And by 'lot' I mean 'pretty much just about every single 12-ppl team' had at least a few of those in it. Why is it 'funny' you ask? Because in the end you did not choose to wield Hawkmoons created by paracausal Light. You did not choose Thorns or Osteo's imbued by paracausal Darkness. You chose a result of scientific ingenuity. A weapon that shoots nanites. A marvel created - albeit by proxy - by Clovis Bray.
