the irl comments made this slightly confusing. would like to just hear the effects in game

Irl Steel plates are in a Kevlar carrier and the Kevlar is designed to catch the spalling from a round hitting steel and containing it in the vest. UHMWPE is a polymer plastic and for armor is imbedded with fibers in crisscrossing patterns like carbon fiber. Ceramic is just like it sounds; a 2-inch-thick dinner plate wrapped in Kevlar to also prevent spalling. Steel plates are defeated by steel core rounds or other form of penetrator like tungsten (Armor piercing) rounds. Ceramic shatters distributing the kinetic energy into the plate. This makes multiple hits on ceramic weaker each time. UHMWPE is one of the best performers for both AP and multiple hits as the rounds imbed inside the plate carrier as it is slowed by the fiber weave. UHMWPE is also wrapped in Kevlar to further aid in slowing the round down as the plastic melts and fuses to the round. All three are also available in level 4 armors for armor piercing protection. This is from experience in Iraq/Afghanistan as a U.S. Army EOD tech with 6 deployments who has used all 3 types. UHMWPE is the most desired to have as it is the lightest material with the most protection offered. Oh, and ceramic is porous and will absorb sweat, so add about 1lbs to each plate from sweat making it the heaviest of them all. No matter the material it hurts like hell when a round hits, like being hit with a ballpen hammer full strength in the chest or back. Epic bruises.

Also partly why modern plates are rubber coated, it helps catch the spalling/fragmentation

cool to know but I doubt every aspect you mentioned is implemented into the game besides dif caliber damaging the plate more than another

What about the AMP-1 TP LC (Low Cut) vs AMP-1 TP MC (Mid Cut) Or Fast MT (High Cut) does the cut make a difference, or is it just aesthetic? Does the cut actually protect the ears better in game?

A Subscriber actually joined him to give him some money, Rich was thinking like 100k or something but the bloke dropped a bag full of money which ended up being 7mil, so he kept half and gave the other half to a mate of his... they also told the devs and they are aware of the exploit used by the subscriber.
