Every now and then I imagine what the world would’ve been like if Digimon reached Pokémon level of popularity and revenue. I’m glad there’s and uptick in digimon romhacks and fan games.

Like pokemon, digimon would keep a base formula and a toxic fanbase saying that world 1 or 3 or cybersleuth is the only one that is amazing and the rest would be called trash, the fanbase would be really toxic.

this statement is kinda meaningless. I love digimon more than pokemon... and I still like pokemon. doesn't matter which is more popular really. both have fan games that are amazing.

I think its better as it is - just look at Pokemon games on the Switch.

I remember this one. Was really fun until my Digimon evolved into it's perfect form. While my adult level was able to defeat perfect level training enemies, my perfect suddenly wasn't able to defeat adult level ones. Wasn't able to find the problem and never touched it again. Was nice while it lasted, though.

It's Because it's friendship resets when it digivolve and friendship gives you extra stats

@@hexmexasdfghjkl2034 Thank you, I was playing last night, my Rookie was beating champions but after evolving suddenly it could barely beat rookies and I had no idea why but I had noticed it wasn't doing the happy face anymore. Seems like a bad mechanic when a digimon digivolves they don't suddenly forget their past...

Bizarre, if anything in Digimon evolution is usually caused by a greater bond between Digimon and tamer. Doesn't make sense for it to reset.

in my opinion Digimon World Championship was ahead of its time. If it was a mobile game today i'm pretty sure it would be really popular

I have always loved Digimon even more so than pokemon and I am so happy to see a fan game that can fill the void while I wait patiently for new digimon games x.x

This game has such cool Autobattles. I tried to get the same energy and pave in Nanomon, but Tamers Reborn is on another level

Best Digimon Fanmade Game, beside Digimon Rumble arena Fanmade🙏 I love it, that some people did Digimon great and greater. I played Digital Tamers Reborn to 100%. Im happy to play DTR2 in future ❤

For some reason this game doesn't work on my new phone 😅😢 I luckily still have my old phone but I think I'll just wait on the sequel.

It's really good, but there are several things that bring it down. Like the time sensitive events, you can only play in championships on specific days. If you missed it, screw you, I hope it's okay to change the date on your PC, otherwise you're stuck waiting for next month. Or the grind for money, because without cash, training becomes soooo slow, and you'll be stuck doing the same stuff for hours until you're strong enough to attempt different challenges. I hope they address all of that in the sequel.

I play this game throughout the week and have been for about a year. It's pretty great. Secretly the best V-Pet... though I think the Digimon die WAAAAY to easily from neglect. I can't wait for Tamers Reborn 2 if that ever comes out.

Waiting for 2, this is a great digimon game, my only complain is its really not balance their is just too few perfect/ultra lvl digimon that are viable for end games stuff but other than that if you just want to raise digimon this is near perfection

"The creators of Digimon don't go after fan games like their Pokemon counterparts do." Why would they? All Digimon fan games have to have you feed them and clean up their poop. XD But seriously, Digimon's games came after the anime, unlike Pokemon which had the anime come after the games, so Pokemon is more about the games while Digimon is more about the cartoon so they aren't as threatened by people ripping off their properties as long as they are respected. ;)

Actually Digimon World released first on PS1 in Japan before the anime aired. Only by a few months but still it also came before the anime and not just the VPets. The anime was just much more popular than the games but it‘s still very much a game franchise. Bandai just doesn‘t seem to really care about it that much.

Welp, you can pirate dowload it, and try to support the devs by promoting their game, giving good reviews, watching their content, its not excacly the most fair way to give back to the devs, its always better to have people playing your games anyways
