What device are you playing on? I assuming you using an iPad. What is the display settings? Because your gameplay are so smooth and not a moment where the character suddenly being pulled like rubber band and taking damage from invisible enemy zephyr.

Loved this video so much and learned a lot about this playstyle. Would love to see you do more videos like this to cover varying playstyles and articulate how you approach BG with that style. I found this one of your best videos yet and super informative

Mate, have you tried main hand essense, elegant retribution,? It increases sentrys damage dramaticly. In your build you pick one of main hand essense to increase strafe duration. May be you can use freedom and devotion instead evertasting torment to increase all your summons duration. By this way you cz use elegent retribution. Just and idea to improve the build

Great video, i been using this build and enjoying it, it is newbie friendly, i have one question, if i dont have seeping bile, should i switch 4 piece baron for maybe 2 piece baron and 2 piece of something else? or can the loss of control from 4 piece baron be triggered by something else?

Great in depth vid! I‘m loving the fact that summon DH is back, since it was dead (classic shepard didnt work anymore, Not enough damage, ppl just walking away from them). Now wish me luck on getting the new essence and I shall be having fun again in battlegrounds, yeah!

When u say Shephard doesn't work. Does this shadow strafe and sentry consider summon? I am thinking to farm Shephard now for this build.

@@kennethng1877 yes, they count as summons, but while the classic shepard build was doing really well for an entire battleground season it somehow couldnt do much damage anymore once the last meta strafe/multishot or knockbackshot came in effect. Better to play it as Auroth laid it out, 4/6 pcs shepard is dead

Nice variation on DI"s recommended PVP build.

Love this build. As a new player I was finding that battlegrounds were very tiresome as a strafe build as I kept dying. Now with even low res and not all of the gems you described I can win matches and get MVP. Battlegrounds went from a waste of time to being a LOT of fun. One thing I would like to ask, what curses have you opted for now that they have removed the negative effects from them?

U can use BOL rune for baron :) Im not sure what would work best for Vault. (Im not playing that much vault lately)

Great build video, and I actually have all the essences for it, even though I’m still missing the pants for your latest pve build. One question: why 4 baron? I understand 2 baron, as it extends the duration of dots. But 4 baron only increases damage when you apply total loss of control, which you don’t have in this build, right?

@@Auroth_DI you’re right that 4 barons applies to all loss of control. I guess I got it confused with chip. However, BOL (and the same magic attribute on gear and reforges) only applies to primary attacks. Do you know if it grants your summons’ primary attacks a chance to apply the slow? Frozen heart does grant a chill that doesn’t rely on primary attacks, but it only lasts 6 seconds every 20. It doesn’t make sense to me to use 4 barons for something with such a low uptime. What about other set options? If we keep 4 grace, how about combining it with 4 angmet, vithu, shepherd, or banquet? Or even 4 mountebank, although I’m trying to stick with your damage theme.

Try the knockback sentry or the mortar sentry (placement is important due to HP)

I’m using this build for the pass at least 2/3 weeks and it’s does wonders. The downside is, slowness of movement and a bit squishy. But better from previous builds:) Ty Auroth!

@@Auroth_DI I've been using knife trap as my 4th skill, either the snare that prevents dashes or the debuff one that increases all damage they take - locks them down while the summons rip through em. Definitely different playstyle, but highly effective even as 2.5k reso :) love the content, keep it up.

I feel that the build with knife trap I have better success and dps..my strafe summon is not spinning so fast as u, but I am only at 950 resonance. Maybe this could be the reason

Thank you for another great video Auroth :) I was getting frustrated in bg with a build I had made up on my own and was getting minimal success with (I was using freeze, 4 pc endwinter, 4 pc baron). I was usually 1:1 win loss per day. I switched to your build with a few tweaks (don’t have all your recommended lego gem, and I aux the ones I could). Went 15w, 6l yesterday. I hope you will keep putting out DH content with future updates! You’re the best DH guide out there. Thank you very much, from this forever DH

I did release a monk summoner build before. The newer essences look good on paper but so far they have been a bit underwhelming in reality. Will def release updated builds when something exciting in terms of new essences comes out.

Anyone notice this in bg. Using same build, i am 3.5k one bg i am able to kill 3 to 5k player. But another bg i am having difficulty to even kill 1 to 2k player in the whole game. And after i lost a few bg then i am again "stronger" and able to kill 3 to 5k player again. This has happen a few times.

Sad that you have to say range classes need to be in the back. People would always say that "im terrible" due to falling back or not standing on the idol.. dead = no dps. Even when savior pets landed, I always kept Gladiator. The 2nd or 3rd life comes in handy. Once again..dead = no dps

Now you need to build how to counter this build if im a crus!!! Lol. This demon hunter now is so OP that drained too fast health even for pure tank. Cant deal with the OP dmg now. Unreal. Since this demon hunter update tank is kind of useless
