The Best Daily Trainer? Adidas Supernova Rise Review

Спорт

Full disclosure, the Adidas Supernova Rise shoes were sent to me by ‪@prodirectrunning‬ x ‪@adidas‬ for review. They are not paying me and I'm here to just compliment the shoe.... but let me clearly say this... this is simply one of the best daily trainers there is! it's as simple as that.
The price point, the PEBA foam and the comforting feel make these shoes a strong contender for best non-plated daily trainer out right now

    I agree fully with Aubrey on this shoe...amazing ride, unique in the daily trainer space. Another key detail, since I AM the technical jargon guy...is the PEBA foam in the midsole of this shoe is specifically developed for this shoe, for training! It isn't the same foam from their race shoes (which race properties to match) stuffed into a trainer. Adidas developed this top tier PEBA foam...for training. Total game changer that.

    I’m completely sold on the sensation and performance of this shoe. This is the running shoe we need to simply run in… very easy to recommend too to anyone who is looking for a daily trainer that simply doesn’t the job.

    Supernova was the first shoe I ever ran in! I may have to take a gander at these for old time's sake. It'll be cool to see how they feel after all these years.

    Hey hey… This is the Supernova Rise my lady… and I suspect this is a massive move from the shoe you know. I would strongly recommend trying it. Adidas are actually offering a 30 day trial of this shoe.

    Hey Aubrey! First time seeing this vlog style from ya. Good format! Love the call outs setting expectations with the price and building on all the value add like PEBA and support rods at this cost. I think adidas has a potential winner here! Like others though I think the drop might be too much for me but great for others who prefer! Aubrey F

    That’s a good value shoe and I like the stack heights…..just wondering if the outsole isn’t just as good ,made by Continental,but marketed differently 🤔🤔…tbh any daily trainer/easy miles shoe under or at 300 grams works fine.Anything at threshold or faster,ya,I’d say the extra weight matters as it affects turnover.Good job Aubrey!!! Look forward to your entertaining and informative reviews .

    Great review. I think I might give these a try. I will say I feel the continental rubber is slightly overrated. Rubber on my ultra boost says worn out and I didn't even do that much actual running in them.

    Hi man still love your content. Just wanted to ask as a beginner runner, my feet and ankle become a bit painful when i reach 5-6km and struggle and im forced to walk. Could the problem be my shoes (on cloud monster 2) or the way i tied my laces or my running style?

  • @AubreyRunning

    @AubreyRunning

    3 ай бұрын

    Could be so many things and I have to say I am. I expert at these things but try this: 1) have your hair analysis done to know the type of shoes you need. It’s easy to want to run in the shoes we like but you may need a support shoe instead of a neutral shoe. The gait analysis might also expose poor form. 2) you may be doing more than you should because you’re a new runner. So may be start slow and shorter runs until your body is ready for more and gradually increase. 3) you may be running with an existing injury which is not fully healed. 4I would also reach out to a specialist, a medical expert to see what happen, a professional running coach for advice. 5) run with a plan in mind. Just a few ideas but as I say, I’m no expert

    Curious as to would be a "good" drop for a shoe like this and why. As far as I can recall nearly all adidas & Nike daily trainers have always been 10mm whereas say Hoka are always 5mm and then you have the zero drop niche brands. So i guess it depends, to a certain extent, on personal preference which for me is nearly always 8-10mm in both daily and racing shoes.

    @@TimGrosethe drop of shoe can be important because as midfoot runner higher drop tries force me land on heel so changes running mechanics. That's a problem for me because my natural gait is comfortable for me and keeps my legs from getting injured. Just my 2 cents.
