I completely agree with you. Cabin location makes or breaks a cruise! I don't care how much people say they don't spend time in their cabins. You sleep and relax there! I always look at deck plans before I book a cabin. I also book a cabin as close to the front or back of the ship and as high a deck as possible.
Dead end hallways really cut down the foot traffic too, whenever possible.
I totally agree & this was a learned experience for us....one year we got a great deal.....directly under the jogging track......dang those healthy people who are up and running at 5 am.....this is VERY good advice
Wise advice, as always Gary 👍🛳️⚓️
Great advice
Thank You...All! For the Information!😊
I've never considered across before. I always check above and below.
Last cruise I was not enough rooms away from the centrum area. You could hear music till midnight at least 10 cabins away. Wont make that mistake again.
Thanks for the tip, enjoying your videos. Planning my first cruise for sometime in the next 6 months and going through as much info as possible, to make it amazing.
You are so right Cabin placement
Fantastic advice, Gary. My recent cabin on the Prima ticked every box, and was perfect.
Good advice!
I found that having the right cabin mate improved my sleep😂
We are going our first family cruise in a few months and picked our cabin based on this advice. Thank you 😊 hopefully we've made a good choice!
Lol I wish I'd watched 3 months ago. I'm currently on deck 15 on Arvia right below the skydome! Music pounding til midnight which means we have no choice but to join in with the party crowd...party on
I wish I had the luxury to do this haha. I don’t have a lot of disposable income, so the only way I can afford to cruise usually is to do the “guaranteed interior” and hope for the best. I’ve gotten very lucky with some nice cabins but always bring earplugs. My neighbors at my apartment at home are extremely noisy and annoying 24/7/365, and there’s always lots of banging and annoying kids and loud music, so being on a cruise - even with all those things - would still be awesome for me because at least I’d be on a cruise! 😂
I agree. One time I decided to be cheap and ended up with a room right next to a noise crew access area. Did not rest well. Ended up sleeping in the room with my aunt and grandma. Thankfully they had a bunk bed for me to sleep in.
Must be nice to be able to afford the higher fare to get the choice.
Thanks for Sharing ❤ 🥀 😎
This is good advice. We've been lucky so far, but I must be more cautious in the future.
