The best individual crochet braids method I’ve ever seen.

I always do mine like this and I have saved hundreds of dollars. I don’t go to the shop for braiding anymore.

I did this technique for a charity event and my hair is VERY thin! It took a bit of time/effort/patience to pull the natural hair braid/plait thru the crochet hair but it totally looked like individual braids and to date, it was my sister’s fave crochet braids for me! This style really saves a ton of money if you DIY!!!

@krysa7005 at the ery top of the Braid feel for your hair and o once you hold it you can pull it out. I may have to try to do a demo on my mannequin

These are cute and I have similar but my stylist struggled to put these in my head. I just have method around perimeter of my head and beehive pattern in the middle with crochet box braids added.

When your hair is long, pulling the hair through is a little bit challenging. It's still a great alternative to actually having to braids however.

You are welcome. If the crochet hair is braided too tightly or if it's too thin, or if your natural hair plaits are too thick it can be difficult.

You probably made the braids too big to pull through, make them smaller, I had to learn that 😆

Thank you! I was looking for a method like this. Like how people do individual faux crochet locks. I didn’t think this would work for hair. Idk if it will hide if I do blond but same difference if it was the “real way” my black hair would still show . Give or take

I feel like this method would only work with thin and shorter hair. My hair is way too thick for this. It seems like a much better way to prolong the style. I'll be trying on my family members soon. Thanks ❤

Love this for short hair on the thinner side. My hair is 3x thick and bra lenth so I have to use longer hollow faux lics. They still work for this method but you have to weave very close so its completly inside the loc. Any tips for extremly thick/longer lenths?

Tbh..I don't usually do this technique for long thick hair.

I can't remember right now but I usually mention it in the video..if not my apologies. I usually use about 6 packs for those types of style.

It's basically the same process..it's just that your hands are held up instead of down. ..otherwise it's the same exact hand motion.

It took about 5 hours. I can't remember how many packs but I may have mentioned it in the video. One order comes with enough packs to complete the style though.
