People assume coasters in China are awful just because Chinese coasters are awful. Coaster built by good manufacturers are good, no matter where they are. Congrats on 5k BTW!

The local one is But let's be honest, not every park wanted to use Golden Horse anyway. Especially when they wanted spend heck out of money and make it the best.

Low effort video or not, I like your videos WAY more than the other coaster channels. Like...WAY more.

Starry Sky Ripper has such a badass name too, like come on.... STARRY SKY RIPPER. It sounds like the name you would give to a creature form the 11th dimension that could distort the fabric of time and space.

Found your channel yesterday and have already binged every video you have put out so far. Keep up the great content and I can’t wait for more!

I pretty much just know this coaster from those thoosie top 100 coasters in the world videos. I never heard from a single person who has ridden it actually

@@julian-xy7gh a couple are exceptionally great like Flash and Soaring with Dragons, also that new Mack multi launch coming in 2021, many woodies are really unique as well

Do you know how insulted B&M must have been when this park came to them and said "We wanted a Vekoma Flying Dutchman, but they were discontinued. What can YOU do?"

I can't believe I actually knew what this was. I saw a POV video years ago and thought, "I can't believe this isn't one of the most popular rides on the internet"

I’ve seen the POV ages ago before and just thought it looked cool. I got reminded of it a few months ago and realised it might be better than flying dinosaur

Happy to see more people doing videos that highlight the lesser known coasters of the world. I think that Starry Sky Ripper is what I would imagine B&Ms take on the Flying Dutchman would look like with a few unique elements like that straight drop. Great video!

There’s a lot of Vekoma Boomerangs in China called “Stress Express”

My fav chinese coaster to look at is Crystal Wings which is a Superman ultimate flight clone that they built into a castle and looks to be maybe the most themed thrill coaster in the world

Didn't even have to click on the video I knew which one you were talking about but the title alone. Amazing ride

There’s a straight drop after a small turn after the lift hill on galactica/air at Alton towers, and on the back row it’s such a unique feeling. I genuinely felt like I was just freefalling, was insane

The weirdest thing about Coaster Through The Clouds is the gigantic flat turn at the top of the lift, I guess it’s worth it for the suspense it builds up but that seriously must’ve added a couple million dollars to the overall cost. I can’t think of anything like it on that scale

When I discovered Wood Coaster at Knight Valley I was amazed by this coaster. Would have 10x more recognition in Europe or USA

The in-line twist happens right before the fly to lie right before the vertical loop. I honestly think it looks more like a zero-g roll from the pov

That new mack rides hurricane roller coaster in china, the launched hyper with the vertical loop going around the cobra roll (among a ton of other stuff), yeah that one....looks insane.

Only reason I knew about starry sky ripper was because of it appearing in most of the top 100 lists from 2018. But yea I think it looks really cool (not as good as flying dinosaur though)

@@Coastoons in the future the Fantasilandia park will be located at the southern outskirts of the city where I live (Santiago), I saw the blueprints and they will add a big GCI coaster, and some Vekoma SFC with his current rides jaja

The inline twist happens before the fly-to-lie. It's an inline twist INTO a fly-to-lie INTO a vertical loop.

I've gawked at this thing for a while now. Makes me sad that I probably won't be able to ride it for years and years and years.

About 0.01% of coaster enthusiasts in the US will ever get a chance to ride this coaster, but it sure looks good though!

Falcon is 196ft because that is 60m in metric. Also, Starry Sky Ripper’s vertical loop has a weird sensation of turning smoothly from crazy intense to airtime.

Ok, that weird turn after the loop? That's a lie-to-fly turn like on the Vekoma Flying Dutchman. As for the inline twist, I believe CDB is counting the 540 degree fly-to-lie as an inline twist flowing straight into a fly-to-lie.

On the thumbnail I legit thought it was galactica the first flyer which also got me into coasters

I remember watching that pov and was like, why does no one speak of this ride? Saw it a few years ago, this is the first time I'm hearing it mentioned lol

@@bandmfanboy and i think, while their coasters are great, it's just not right to do the exact same thing every time but in a different order, if you have ridden 1 b&m hyper, you have expierenced at least 60% of every other b&m hyper. I would rather have a park build a 100 feet next gen vekoma or something than a b&m hyper, just because it is something new

does anyone know that the world first sidewinder is from hong kong XD btw flying dino gives strong airtime on the first drop, starry is not as steep but probably have same airtime too.

Another Chinese flyer that really goes untalked about is Harpy at Xingshuangbanna Sunac Land (yes that's the name of the park). It's kinda like a combination between Ultimate flight and manta, and definitely seems solid (not Sky Ripper tier tho)

I use Adobe animate that I get though my school. I wouldn't use it though if your new to animation bc its expensive and difficult to learn

I intentionally changed the track color so people wouldn't think it was flying dinosaur. I wasn't really thinking about galactica at the time

The only name that makes sense in China is Stress Express because it so happens to be a Vekoma Boomerang.

Looking at Chinese coasters makes me so sad. Such incredible coasters in a place where basically only locals and domestic tourists can ride them

The problem with most chinese coasters is that they feel very incomplete. They've got some insane elements but they are mixed with some weird stuff, like a straight track. If you look at american or european costers you have probably less really good parts, but also less weird or to short rides
