I use the Center Counter in coffee houses and get winning positions quickly. Most players (in most games) don't give material away immediately but usually make some antipositional amateurish move in the first 5 ot 6 moves or so and fall way behind in development and get positionally lost quickly. Opposite side castling often works.

This gambit by black relies on a BAD MOVE by white to gain a positional initiative. White should decline the second pawn gambit by playing 6.Nc3 (defending their pawn on d5) instead of dxe6. White is then up a pawn, which they should probably give back, and a clear space advantage which is easy to hold.

Answer to the quiz question at 7:00 is obviously Nd3+, as some guys already answered, however, Bg5 is a mistake, it gives the evaluation of -4.96, Kf1 is best, its evaluation is -2.56, which is significantly harder to convert. Although I love your channel, sometimes it is not clear to me do you intentionally choose some suboptimal continuations in your analysis, instead of critical ones, "just for the content", as some other chess influencers would say? That makes no sense, as pretty much any platitude that "celebrities" choose to repeat.

  • @SatyamSharma-is5rh

Move black bishop to D3 ...queen takes bishop followed by knight capturing queen at D3, again check to the king. If the bishop moves to take knight then it's a check from rook to king. During all this both the white bishops are almost useless.

an urgent problem is that many white players dont catch the pawn on d5, the queens gambit is very famous for a good reason and now the scandinavian defence is also making trouble :p Many white players simply pass the pawn, preventing the black knight from f5 :( Then they go d4 and cover this annoying pawn :s Any suggestions ?: o another typical problem is that white, instead of pawn d4 he goes kc3 :s Great video, very instructive and certainly a nasty trap if white plays along ^^
