Im not a keyboard warrior but its always easy to explain when you have rewind and forward on trading view. Guys don't be fooled by youtube videos. The market always goes against the majority of orders at any given time. Ask the guy to do it live not after it's happened. It can also go up so 1 2 3 or 321 doesn't always work. Trading takes 90% psychology and 10% analysis.

Yes, in real life you could have the same exact analysis as up to that point and the Market would have still went the other way lol. And if you look at it again after the failed setup, you'll still be able to come up with a logical explanation of why the market took you out.

Interesting explanation. You never use fib prediction or fib retracement on price action for next level of price reversal ?

Just had a breakout today was waiting for this stop zone but didnt happen, it retested the line then kept going down, missed out 😥. I think it depends how liquid your market is, low volume markets will respect the line while high liquidity will push it above.

Market plays out differently. I haven’t found an exact pattern that shows that this is mostly what happens with such move

  • @zacharypiech2930

Ok, this analysis was better. However, you would not want to enter until price cleared the bpr (to the downside) on that final rejection leg. Once clear, now you have resistance to prevent retracing above, supporting the move down.

So when there are wicks (the part “fake breakout to the downside) there are liquidity (resting orders)? Pls reply. I want to understand

Resting orders (limit orders) that absorb the buy pressure and/or aggressive sellers (market orders) that overwhelm demand.

I think what he's asking is how do you know if there is liquidity in the wicks to the downside? How can you tell and understand if they're "resting orders" located in the wicks?

@@inputname000 You see it by how the price reacts when reaching this level. You can also check the order book at that specific price, although that doesn’t give you the full picture. If you truly want to know if there’s liquidity, you will probably have to watch the order flow when the price reaches your level of interest.
