I've grown up eating Chapssal donuts, but I never really enjoyed them due to the red bean paste. As an adult with more sophisticated taste, I do like red bean. But I found a chapssal donut place that fills them with cream cheese, and it's the best one I've ever had. It's great that Koreans can constantly innovate their traditional food. The place is called Subong Byeolmaru Donuts, but the crazy thing is that I rarely see customers there. It is probably Korea's best kept secret.
