Telememo 30 was mi first real watch. Such a cool watch....My first love and so use usefull in the school test 😅

This is the first video about quartz and digital watches that I have watched as I have no interest. But I watched right to the end for the quality of humans talking about what they love, such great chemistry. It was so funny trying to see Russell be semi serious whilst talking to TGV, but I can tell the pair of you just wanted to mess around and my inner child loves this. Great video with two amazing characters. Need to do more collaborations like this chaps. Sensational. I do think there was an opportunity missed to show off your tegimented horological sinn, haha.

I was also a mechanical watch snob and even worse an automatic snob. But when your Omega Seamaster has gained about 40 seconds over the month and your Casio G-Shock Mudmaster is + 2 seconds over the same period, you soon lose your snobbiness! I have 3 Casio's plus an Orient quartz Chrono that's more accurate than any Rolex Daytona, and a Pulsar Solar Chrono that never needs a battery, can stay alive in complete darkness for 4 months and hasn't lost even 1 second over 3 months. All of them you can grab from your watch box and go without needing to wind it or change the date. Just about every watch collector will have some quartz in the collection, either as beaters around the house or multifunctional uses like my Mudmaster for trekking weekends. Open your eyes to the possibilities my friend and remember, there is no mechanical watch except possibly the Grand Seiko high beat or Spring Drive models that can compete on accuracy with quartz. Even the cheapest $20 Casio is more accurate than a Rolex.

I had recently purchase Casio W168 I was surprise that it gave me a feeling that I could had with a Rolex or even better. Apart from the price which is way way much cheaper, the watch in a way transcend time into my childhood and it evokes a certain feeling within. Im in my late 30s and I find myself holding the watch while im sleeping. I guess it's like my 1st love and I thought I had forgotten. Thank you Casio

can’t believe how in a span of a week how you got me so excited and obsessed with a watch...you literally opened up a new world to me....I own 6 casios now... 6 more than I had before a week ago...and I have to buy more...and that film watch, wow

As a fellow Casio enthusiast who has come up against a lot of snobbery, it is refreshing and comforting to see others who share similar experiences with these little electronic super gizmos. Oceanus, edifice, databank and gshock are the iconic lines in my humble view.

Great brand. As a kid, the gimmicks Casio incorporated in their watches really made them cool to me. I couldn’t pass by the Casio dealer without looking in the window for the new releases. Nowadays, after owning some Seiko and Citizen watches, I went back to Casio. -GMW-B5000 in silver -GMW-B5000 in black -GW-6900 in black -GW-6900 in white -GST-B400XD, Japanese edition with the carbon fibre bezel. -GW-9200 Riseman -GD-350 full black. My wife has the GMW-B5000 in red , my daughter owns 3 Baby G watches, my youngest son has an analog and a digital Casio. The force is strong in our household.😊

TGV old chap, this collaboration between yourself and MWC has to be my favourite video. So very fresh and imaginative. Well done to you both. Onwards and upwards chaps.

I like how both of them are able to quickly grab a DeLorean that's nearby quickly.

I managed to have two gshocks fall apart in my lifetime since I was a kid. Each lasted at least 6 years I think. Keep in ming that I basically lived with the think, including summer swims in the sea, school sports, and showering. Also used to throw them against a wall to impress my school frined with how resistand the watches are. The resin case literally fell apart over the time, buttons and all, while the module and screen kept going!

I'm middle-aged so maybe that's why I love Casio. I was a kid when digital watches first appeared. A young person today won't understand the sheer astonishment we felt upon seeing them. Initially digital watches were restrictively expensive. We could only press our noses up at jewellery shop windows and gaze at them because they were way beyond our financial reach. The magic has stayed with me. I have absolutely no interest is Apple watches. They just leave me cold. For me it's not about what a watch can do, it's about how a watch makes me feel and the Casio vintage digitals take me back to a place that was filled with hope, optimism and adventure. They were James Bond, Space 1999, Star Wars and Captain Scarlet all rolled into one.

Excellent conversation and a joy to watch. Not to mention getting to see some of those watches for the first time. Thank you so much for this!

I really enjoyed that Russ! it's interesting, I'm old as the hills but I have this connection with Casio as well. When I was a kid. my Aunt bought me a Casio calculator and it had a game built into it. A kind of rudimentary thing like Space Invaders only with numbers. It was awesome! 🤣 I experienced the 70s digital watch craze and owned several. Casio watches were an instant hit with me as well, due to the nostalgia factor.

Great video! I like this kind of collaboration. My first watch back in 1988 was a Casio and I just bought a golden A-168. I'm looking forward to your review on the new AQ-800E. Already had an eye on that, too.

Great stuff, TGV helped my watch addiction grow. I was already well down the rabbit hole, he gave me the confidence to change straps.

What a great show! One of my favourite things about watches is that you can enjoy them at any level, from a humble Casio out of the Argos catalogue to the holiest of the Holy Trinity, they’re all all essentially just watches at the end of the day. And Casio is such a great brand and offer amazing value for money. TGV is a a total legend too so always great to see him on the channel 🙌

Wearing my World Timer Casio Royale on a jellyfish strap. It helped me so much when I was in hospital. One of the most useful Casios there is, got one for my father in law!

TGV! He's just the dogs. Got me into watching watch tubes, sooo influential and the benchmark for you watch tubers. MWC is a favorite beause it's got a soul. There was a while where nearly every watch channel just waited to see what TGV did and then just watered it down. Great colab.

This was a great video good to see you two make another video together again all the watches were cool really love the Casio film watches they are really cool.

You both are very good at describing the "feel" that watches give you when you look and wear them. Almost too realistic at times lol. Nice video!

I have the GBD-200 and I love it. The feature to display both time zones (since I travel a lot) is awesome. It's also a nice looking model. I also do not use the Bluetooth/Smart feature (besides when I want to change the time zones or alarms via the app)

GBD200 is absolutely my favourite Casio. I wear mine to work every day and it’s rugged af. Got a few scars but it seems indestructible. If you’re looking for a watch and you work in construction then look no further than the GBD200.

My dad wore the W86 throughout the 90s; I bought one a few months back out of nostalgia. Lovely watch...

Great show! Think I've mentioned it on another video but any love for the Casio world times which aren't the rectangular 1200? Only discovered the range recently and have great functionality and looks. The 2100 even comes with a metal bezel, something you don't often see at this price..

love watching your show , remind me my childhood , my dad bring these from dubai , still missing my moon graph GMW 15 and casio GD 8 these were my watches from 1989 , they had strong connection , even after 33 years am still looking to find these watches and both are now on top ventage list cost around $350 each .. cant afford it bit i realy enjoy your channel .. it takes me back to my mmories deeper ! love from pakistan

Another top video both. As a subscriber to TVG and TMW I love this content. Scarily although it's post Halloween I have a number of the watches shown. My collection is now split three ways, the Casio or rather more classic collection that are sometimes rebuys of watches lost or broken in my youth, the G-Shock lot and the others. I have to agree that my memory in pixel G-Shock display is the best of the lot for readability. I love that Casio deliver watches in a cardboard box that by the time someone has drenched the package in a waterfall then crumpled it up enough to be pushed it though the letter box that the watch survives and oddly the micro print instructions do as well while the packaging has been completely destroyed..
