Just ordered one myself. I like the simplicity and the low price. I'm tired of "overlanding gear" costing an arm and a leg for things that should be dead simple and cheap. Great video and review! Thanks for that.

Switch needs to be up near the shower head away from any water and under the arc. Easier to turn off. Looks like it sits in the water Arc here

Good video mate, will it also work well as a main water system for doing washing up and refilling waterbottles etc or is it a bit of a pain setting it up for frequent use?

Hey mate, definitely works well, I used it like this for a few trips just using a dedicated Jerry can and leaving the pump inside 👍🏽

Product is good when it works however mine died after 13 months of use. The pump died just after it ran out of warranty. Shame as it’s the only shower I found that fits into a water Jerry can.

Thanks for the video, can I ask how you power it? We have free camped a lot but usually only for 3-4 days where fresh water is available for swimming, not worried about showers. We don't have a generator but am thininging of getting one as we're going for a week off grid in Jan. I'll check out your channel for any anvice you may have on generators also. Feel free to share any links you would recommend.

Hey Belinda, this little shower has a built in lithium battery so it’s a simple USB charge and away it goes. We’ve since upgraded to a hot water system but this one was great as we didn’t need a power supply.

We’re loving using this mate. The pressure is great for a camping shower. Especially for a 2LPM pump.

The battery can be charged of course but i don't know if it can be replaced....

What is the diameter of the water pump? Would you happen to know if it would fit inside of a rotopax? Thanks for the video.

Depends on your specific size rotopax mate. The pump was designed to fit into a standard jerry can fill point so I'd assume so. Hope this helps

Looks like kickass have updated the shower.

Repco have a similar product for $35 (SKU: A5390981), but runs off the cigarette lighter of your vehicle, so it's limited by the length of the cable (or any 12v extension cable) where you locate the shower, but I guess being close to the vehicle is not a bad idea anyway.

Thanks for the comment mate, We looked at a very similar model at Anaconda from Companion I think. That plugged into the cig outlet and we almost went that way. It's been pretty handy though having the battery, just being able to use the unit as a transfer pump or use it away from a power supply.

Kickass pressure is terrible! I ended up building my own from a submersible pond pump that runs of a drill battery.

@David Stadium it’s really very simple you need a 12 volt pump with 11 LPM flow which you can regulate, some hose a shower head 12v switch there are plenty of mobile water poly storage options out there, I’m looking at a new VAAST system at the moment. You can install a valve to direct the water from shower to washing up sink. I powered my original one off a couple of drill batteries but now have lithium setup.

Sorry to hear yours played up mate. I’d get onto kickass if the warranties still in date. Ours is still kicking along although it’s not too often used these days
