tbh i miss the old prestige system, there was just something about grinding to that level and having to reset everytime maybe for double xp or something. but it felt like it gave more of a reason to play and something to play towards

Bo2 is literally the closet to perfect cod has ever been Campaign, Multiplayer & Zombies, we’re all brilliant/different game modes that took you to a different journey while playing them & has never been perfected as such since, from the different menus & even the different music playing in the background, cod has never been so perfect

BO2 was the first game with league play, and in terms of CWL, it was the first that allowed amateurs, and the structure to get the amateurs was through league play which was perfect, also a 32 team champs.. what could be better? It's the first proper call of duty competitively in my opinion, first on stage with a crowd, best gun balance (snipers havnt been the same since) biggest upsets and biggest wins ever seen in call of duty, grand final was something to behold.. best competitive call of duty hands down

BO2 is incredibly overrated! Horrendous hit detection and some of the worst spawns in the franchise (TDM was unplayable). Besides MW 2019 it's also the most campy COD ever. I just don't understand the love the game gets... Was very unbalanced for the first year too

Black Ops 3 was the best all around COD ever for me. It was fun to play, the maps were awesome, could use any gun & competitive was an absolute blast to watch + Zombies was unbelievable. They hit that game out of the park.

The "jetpacks" in that game basically just allowed ppl to fly around the map and speaking of maps, they were horrible. The only things I really enjoyed about this game were the skin cosmetics and the thermal mors sniper. That sniper and scope has to get brought back in future cods

BO3 was the most fun cod to play. There was so many good weapons to use that there was never really a "Meta". The Devs have the perfect formula there to make a great game. The movement from Bo3 with the gunplay of Bo2 and the maps from MW2. Perfect game.

All of the guns were easy and fun to use and nothing ever felt like you were at a disadvantage when going up against the best "meta" guns (VMP, M8, Vesper).

The SnD scene in Ghosts really carried it compared to other CoDs. Pros were mixing in with the SnD stars and made countless great GB tournaments to watch on stream when the league didn’t have matches/tournaments.

BO1 is an S tier pub game, the killstreaks were actually rewarding and even the worst maps in the game like hanoi were fun to play on. Sure all the guns besides ar's sucked but without sbmm you could literally use any gun to its strengths and have a a fun time

TTK was horrible, the snipers were bad, the maps were really bad too and the game had a lot of problems for a long time. In my opinion the underated game was Infinite Warfare by far. Everything but the weapon variants worked great in IW. Zombies was fantastic, by far the best zombies of recent years. Campaign was very good too and delivered what it intended very well. The multiplayer had good maps, good weapons, flowed extremely well, and if you combined movement with a skill you didn't feel the game was unfair like you do in the new COD's. On IW, the difference between a beginner and an experienced player was overwhelming.

well cod just had its golden era and then all of a sudden we are flying around like this is fucking halo. I had fun with flying cod but my friends couldnt adapt. It took more skill, better aim and the ability to do multiple things at once. Also having played claw and shifted to a scuf helped lol. Causals hated it cause they got shit on more then ever and casuals run this market cause they are the majority

I remember black ops 1 being so competitive, should be at least tier B

Why is ban and protect hated? That was one of the best features to come to cod bc the games was always different. Every game had a target ban, a different ban, then the standards. It was great

But I remember getting I think the golden Deagle at lv55.. Made you feel like an actual "Commander". Mw2/3 and Black ops 1/2 were probably my favorite games of the whole series. 4 Just completely solid games that I put countless hours on. I'd literally give both my big toes to have another Christmas break on one of those games, just schooling Christmas noobs in S&D.. 😔RIP good ol days.

BO2 was peak competitive. It was by no means perfect and it's connection issues were frustrating. However, the competitive scene with perfect maps and killstreaks was incredible. League play in BO2 was goated as well.

I loved bo3 , it’s my favorite out of any cod . Multiplayer was so fun and reaching master prestige lvl 1000 was so fun . Gotta be honest , put some money into the game tho to get some guns which made the game 2x better for me . The guns were very solid but not worth the money

BO4 competitively is undoubtedly the best year for League Play. The crowd was hype, the players were hype, and for us normal players it was a blast and it felt so vibrant. Loved it

I have a pretty severe vision impairment and basically treyarch games are the only ones I can see enemies clearly. AW too was good. All the modern warfares besides 3 were bad and vangaurd I may as well have invisible enemies past 15 feet. I see nothing in that trash heap of a game

I really loved BO4. Unpopular opinion but the 150 health with stim made gunfights so engaging, coupled with the movement being more fast paced

I agree fully with his S-tier choices for sure. Nothing needs to be said about MW2 or BO2. If the golden eras of CoD had to be summed up into two games it would be them. Now BO3 was pretty special. Out of all the crazy movement/crazy ability CoDs, this one they hit the nail on the head with the execution. Such a great game.

BO2 better be number one or it’s completely wrong.

I remember when everybody had *snd* on their clan tags on cod ghosts cause search was the absolute best on that game, the sniping was great for search too

Pretty cool seeing him not give his opinion so early on for vanguard then goes and wins a Major on it

Cod4 to me deserves s tier I know a lot of people probably wasn’t around but it had Promod which was competitive for pc , prosnd which was competitive for snd players , and competitive sniping which a lot of popular KZreadrs came from even some pro players ! I think zooma was a cod4 competitive sniper! None of those had actually tournaments besides promod but due to it being a mod it wasn’t highly adopted by everyone!

Yea there’s a lotta nun OG’s who didnt go through it. Cod 4 is 100% S tier you just had to be there to understand

CoD 2 was hands down one of the most competitive ever. It is definitely S tier, and all the pros would agree. But this is when we were on PC
