A5100, and lots of M4/3 cameras. Hey, Aaron why you didn't mention the ZV-1? Shirley, this is a good beginner's vlogging machine. Thanks for your videos, they have helped me for years.

Bought a Fujifilm XE2 for €300 to try out digital photography. It's been more than enough for my use case as I'm just using it for personal use, no professional work or video. Though I considered Sony a5100 too but the Fujifilm recipes won me over.

Still using A5100! I bought it for my travel vlogs, recently upgraded it with a Sigma lens 😊

Paid 400 for my Lumix G9 + 12-60 kit lens. Awesome deal

Actually the A5100 video format is improved over that of the A6000! Except for the overheating the A5100, which also has touchscreen focusing, is better for vlogging. PS I forgot focus peaking, which makes using vintage lenses a gas (although they are rather heavy for the A5100's incredibly small and light camera body).

Lumix Micro 4/3 cameras are also a good shout, cheap, small and lightweight. Something like the G80/85 or G7, can do 4k 30fps and is only about £300 with the 12-60mm kit lens

Good shout! These come up a lot in lists of budget cameras.

the 5100 has touch focus and focus peaking.
