** *LOOK* ** - I know it's a long video, but it may be helpful to watch from beginning to end to fully understand that this scope held up (I discussed and verified such within). But in a nutshell... For starters I bought cheap slugs to do this test because you all know how expensive name brand slugs are. Unfortunately these cheap slugs aren't very accurate- the Winchesters shoot twice as good (or better). On top of that, smoothbore shotguns inherently are not as accurate as rifles, and this is further exacerbated by having a receiver mounted scope on this shotgun as opposed to being mounted on a cantilever barrel mount. See video for more details, but in a nutshell and as shown and discussed and verified in video, the scope maintained zero the entire time. There is no doubt to me, but in hindsight and at a much higher cost and requiring a different shotgun- testing premium *sabot* slugs through a *fixed* rifled barrel (much better accuracy), may have been more conclusive/affirming for some viewers. Thus in the future, I may revisit this test with the aforementioned parameters in place...

That was impressive for a scope in this price category. If it handles this type of recoil it should likewise hold up very well on the average medium recoil deer rifles too in calibers like 6.5 Creed.270 WIN, .30-30 WIN, 308 WIN, 30-06 SPR, Etc.

I'm going to mount this on a springer. So this is a reassuring test..Or it's going on the Daisy 901 Because vigorous pumping does a number on scopes too.😂

I haven't either, and I've tested a ton. I'm doing an overview soon of all their scopes I've tested and discussing within my experience with all of them...

Id almost have to guess that parallax is coming into play trying to shoot groups.

Parallax at 50 yards would be a practically negligible shift in POI. As outlined in the video and pinned comment, the massive group size is due to these junk slugs- the Winchesters shoot at least twice as good as proven in this and the previous shotgun video (and others of mine).

Have you ever thought about a rifled choke.

Tried it once, posted a video. I had horrible results, made it LESS accurate. But this was just before I realized the 2nd scope died and so I believe that was the reason for the results- the scope was already compromised...
