The Best Budget ND Filter
Фильм және анимация
Have you ever tried shooting videos outdoors in bright conditions but they're always overexposed? No need to increase your F-stop or shutter speed. What you need is an ND filter.
This is the K&F Concept Nano-X Series, ND2-32, and C-PL 2-in-1 Filter.
This filter has 5 stops of adjustable ND and CPL.
Some features that I like about this filter are:
1) The fact that there are no 'X' spots popping up when you're switching between stops of ND because it is designed in a way to prevent overlapping while adjusting your ND.
2) There are dots on the side with a slider that shows you the exact stop of ND that you're currently using from 1-5.
3) The CPL filter is built-in to help remove glares and reflection, which means I don't have to use a second filter for that purpose.
4) The built quality, this filter feels very solid and premium, the glass has a nano-coating to prevent unwanted scratches and allows water droplets to run right off the glass.
I got mine on Amazon for only $105USD

I know a Jamaican accent when I hear one pappa. Good job on the vid
I got six separate ones for $60, they’re Gobe which are also great. (From 4 to 1000). I’m looking forward to experimenting. Thanks for the video !

You're welcome 😊. Glad you found the video useful. I definitely need an ND 1000, sometimes I have to stack 2 filters together to get the right exposure 😅😅
Awesome
and also if you go super cheap you will notice loss of sharpness and crazy color shifts. I have an old K&F and is quite decent and costs like 40 USD. but that polarization control is important, because whenever you're changing your exposure, you're rotating one of the polarizers inside, and you may not get the image that you want.

That's so true, I have a set of cheap NDs I got a couple years ago and they were terrible with colour shifts and vignetting. This K&F concept one has been doing a good job so far even though there's still a slight colour shift, but I make sure to correct the white balance after adding the filter to the lens with a white balance card.
“Oh cheap I wonder how much it i- *$100*….oh”

Lol trust me man, I thought the same until I saw the price of Polar Pro and the other top brands going for $300-400 and this one grabbed my attention with the CPL filter built-in

Compared to the other high-end brands and their prices, this is the First one I'd recommend. Check it out here on Amazon: amzn.to/4dAA7Rd
is it just me or does anyone else notice really bad vignetting in this filter? The darker it gets, the more the vignetting pops up...

That's an issue all variable ND Filters have my friend. The darker you go, the more prominent the vignetting and X-Spot. This filter, unlike cheaper brands, doesn't vignette as much and the "X" spot is non-existent. If you want to get rid of this vignetting, get ready to spend upwards of $200USD for PolarPro or Tiffen filters. For the price, this is performing extremely well.
X series? lmao name is deceiving... in a good way
