Short vlog of our last day in Dominican Republic!
Had a great relaxing day!
We stayed in Santo Domingo in order to fly out from there in the morning & I booked a hotel last minute while we were on our way from Moca, DR. Best hotel in Santo Domingo hands down, It turned out to be so cute and in the absolute BEST LOCATION! No car necessary to explore Zona Colonial. It was a block away from La Plaza de Colon and the room had an adorable view towards the avenue.
Zona Colonial is the oldest settlement of the Americas, this area is well maintained and has beautiful architecture, cafe's in the heart of Zona Colonial, and there are so many great restaurants in this area too!
I found a boutique hotel in Zonal Colonial and I was so happy with the price and the room!

he did have a collar on just no tag. he just chewing up stuff and carrying neighbors kids shoes to the house haa our little dachshund doesnt care much for him haa

yes..you still got any snow in Michigan it was in the 50s here in Miss. yday pretty chilly for april
Mary was there a particular reason why you selected that Hotel amongst all the others in that area. Also how clean was the room , did the room have good air conditioning and water pressure. Also, at night was it difficult to sleep due to the heavy street traffic noise below.

Hi! Yes, we booked it last minute with but I wanted something more historic/traditional versus a hotel like a Marriott Hilton etc so we went with this and it was clean, safe and there was a little noise but not too much. Air conditioning was good and water pressure in our room was good as well.

Nice vlog good video shots, but maybe slow down just a tad so your viewers can see what your camera is showing us. Santo Domingo, Colonial Zone is a nice area in the capital. I also stay in the area when I visit the island.

umm... I would say don't be out at night or late alone, if I were you I would incorporate myself into a tour or people traveling alone too, be cautious don't wear jewelry or have your phone out very obviously. Good luck love!

¿Te gustan los hoteles de 5 estrellas? A que no sabéis que los hoteles de 5 estrellas a menudo suelen ofertas a precios irrisorios. Pues en hoteles5estrellas.net podréis mirar las ofertas de hoteles de alto estanding por ciudad de destino. Únicamente tienes que seleccionar la ciudad que vayais a visitar y ver que hoteles disponen de ofertas en ese momento.

Bueno le diré algo .estuve en este hotel La navidad del 2017 y en esa misma habitación y una vista muy linda pero Dios mío tuve que cambiar el hotel. En la mañana no por que el hotel era malo. Pero en la noche con los carros y la bulla No pude dormir.

Beautiful place, but take care and be cautious in santo domingo streets, there's a lot of thief "tigueres dembowseros" in motorcicles and is dangerous walking with a cellphone in the hand.

sorry, i usually dont like to post "negative " comments, and Europa is "OK". but sometime you should try, the Nicolas De Ovando, Dona Elvira, The Palacio, and Casa Sanchez...I like all four of those and Many of my visiting friends Love them all....Salute

There are many lovely boutique hotels in the colonial zone, but many are very pricey too! But hey for $55/ night, that damn good!
