I am using th3 tamer now and started using mostly weak points mods. 4 special mods. It's crazy and helpful.. thanks to ur video I'm now going g to make it hard crit and half weak point with fire or poison.

Appreciate the work you put into this. I was building crit/crit damage on Tamer(advice from another guide) and can now pivot without losing too many resources. Also, do you have an updated Freyna build in the works? Hopefully we can build a monster dot build with her!

Good vid. I was thinking of making a jank vid just to help ppl clear the Devourer. Glad you put out a well edited guide on it. Tamer over Thunder SMG all day. It made clearing Devourer a breeze, where I was stuck on the boss before switching out Thunder Ulty wep. The Thunder Ulty wep players get is fun but nowhere near as strong as MG's and especially Tamer atm. SMG's need a drastically larger mag size to even start to compare with MG's atm imo. So much more time spent reloading with SMG's and they're much more inaccurate with recoil pulling the gun off target.

@@TheRedDevil7494 Yeah, I played around more last night doing Kingston wave clear to progress Freyna and Sub-Machine gun Firefly. Loving the game but even amongst weapons of the same type they play much differently. Thunder-Cage was pulling me off target while Firefly with no recoil or accuracy perks/mods was very accurate ans easy to aim. The boosted movement speed over MG's for Freyna felt amazing. I might settle on using Assault Rifle for Freyna. I forget the name but there's one I'm levelling that has similarly over-tuned dps as Tamer. I'm new to fps games. The trial and error experimentation is fun.

@@TheRedDevil7494 Random question for you. I was in the lab testing some mods and I was having trouble getting a good test of the barrel and magazine enhancement mods. Unsure if they're bugged in the lab but when I equipped and unequipped repeatedly my mag round capacity for current capacity or max was not increasing. Have you noticed inconsistencies in lab testing as well?

You can get the tamer as early as Agna Desert after you compete the first 3 quest for it it will unlock the 2nd piece of land to the right with two quest and the 2nd quest has a %50 drop chance

2:55 A crit damage roll is better than a crit chance roll on this gun. Your default DPS increase from crit on the Tamer is 6% (10% chance * 60% extra damage). A 14.3% crit chance roll would increases this to 6.86%. A 41.1% crit damage roll increases it to 8.47%.

Solo'd it on Gley, easy once you got the dsp. (And blood orbs, sometiems you can be starved.)

Would be interesting to see a weakpoint + crit build when the weapon weapons is up correctly (only problem is the elemental enchants that are on different symbols) But the damage will just be totally insane with both worlds. In addition you switch to Gley and put the yellow perk Mental Focus (and probably 1 mod to compensate the Fire Rate debuff or charge the weapon even faster) and when you berzerk you can freely charge Mental Focus Passiv to get +37.5% attack damage. Can be done on other characters ofc but Gley benefits of this perk the most ofc.

I went a different route with my Tamer. I went for max ammo capacity and fire rate. There’s a yellow mod, don’t know the name that reduces fire rate initially but builds up attack and fire rate, I think it gives 60% firearm attack and 40% speed when ramped up. That mixed with 180 rounds a magazine just destroys groups. There’s one more mod I need to build to complete it which increases general round capacity so I start with more ammo, once that’s done I’ll be happy.

yeah I think overall weakpoint builds will be more potent than crit builds especially for bossing, but also because some enemies have the modifier which makes them immune to non weakpoint shots. I'm not sure what hard mode content is like but I'd assume there are more enemies with this modifier in hard content

I think you should try Eternal Will assault rifle, i think it does more damage while still giving you mobility

I was using that weapon for some time. Had perfect roles on it. It is the strongest DPS weapon, perfect at bosses. And I did a horrible mistake - didn't mark it when I switched it, so I deconstructed it accidentally 😱😭. Now need to get another one. Also, btw. are you insane? 😉 How fast are you getting so many descendants and materials. How?! Been following your videos from before, I also played betas. 🙂

You can also find it in the Again desert in the battlefield mission the abandoned reconstruction site

I got this lmg by chance and while the other weapons are hovering around the 40K damage, the tamer came with 60K. So I end up using it mainly to fight bosses. There's the extra benefit that it's ammo is the most common and it will keep shooting the whole fight no matter what it is.

Alright, this does helped quite a lot to properly upgrade to a point my assault rifle so i can contribute more to a boss ive been stuck at for two days, will deffinitely follow that for most other weapons as i level up more.

Just found the -40 percent def debuff transcendence mod for my Sharen too. Slap that on with all those weapons and turn a colossal into paper

Small note, i wouldn't worry about substats too much until you're max level on it. If you find a low level one then upgrade it none of the substats increase with the level increase causing them to all be severely under rolled meaning your "god roll" won't be so godly anymore later on and you'll have to reroll it anyways.

Very nice A sniper rifle mod build would be nice next.

Any chance you can make a video about solo Sharen the White-night Gulch Outpost? Probably not something you want to do 🤣 I understand, but noones really gone into it in Ult Bunny videos. They just gloss over it for the most part even though it's insanely hard.

Man, practically everything good is in White night Gulch and the enemies are so rough especially with a bunny, effective but so squishy...

lol moxsy knows what’s up and on the chance you read this comment, look up mental focus, it reduces fire rate by 10%, and at max rank it cost 16 and for every shot you shoot it gets 1% firepower, all the way up to 150 stacks, with a 2 sec cooldown so you lose stacks when you reload. Ima try your build out and compare the 2 tho

Match the element or non element of your descendant and then match the ability type of your damaging abilities. For example freyna wants “toxic” “mechanics”. Then match the weapon type you are using and you get big big numbers for ability damage.

Tested and approved, however just a little adjustment for the weakpoint build, I would replace the Fire rate up for Weakpoint quick fire, a bit less fire rate for a higher weak point damage. Other then that it’s a very strong build

I have 3 builds for this gun. I have been doing deadbride and devour carries all lastnight

Asta desert gets you them earlygame around level 30-35, fortress converter facility has a mission that takes like 2mins to run that drops it at 50% on hard mode @ level 100.

I believe you can get it from desert too but i could be wrong. I got one earlier and its fun to use

Is the pyro normal or hard? Cause aintnoway u doing 1 min 23 seconds with it. Literally got everything that ure using and it took me 5 min at least.

Shoot I made a crit set-up on my tamer & it's pretty good, even though it's still not around 400k but it's halfway from that giving off constant Crits because of the high crit rate...not saying it's the best but it's also not the worse as you have it timed at the bottom of the video

The stats in the mod screen don't show the effects of the attributes that you've rolled on the weapon btw. If you hover over your weapon in your inventory and hit F1 it will take you to a screen that show what all your stats actually are including the benefits of the attributes that you've rolled.

The reason the tamer gets so much hype is because of fire rate and large magazine size. Plus it’s easier to get as well. Now like you said 10% CC is not that great, but focusing on weak point DMG and elemental DMG (for bosses) it becomes a beast. We aren’t including descendants like Gley who increases the tamers DPS.

You can find the tamer in agna desert in the remnant and then the Reconstruction site mission.

I have only gotten high power rounds weak point insights while grinding the vulgus occupied buildings mission by the fallen theatre in Kingston on hard mode even though I need the general rounds one.

if i fed a energy activator and crystallization catalyst into a tamer will it only apply to that specific tamer or will it apply to every tamer? (subbed btw)

Its been awhile, but i have to ask. Is the crit rate better over weak point? Im asking only because tamers crit rate is so low at 10%. You have almost 50% crit with 81% crit damage. I have 55% weak point damage instead of the crit rate and crit damage. Thoughts? Edit: both our fire rate and firearm atk is the same, with the exception that im at 94%

my tamer is a mixed crit-weakpoint build because i have 2 golden rolls on crit chance and crit damage and a purple roll on firearm atk % and weakpoint % mixing ends up being better damage due to the multiplicative additional damage

Apparently launchers on enzo is sick too since he can make it so you never run out of ammo....lol

special ammo conversion mod does wonders (Tactical ammo drops give you heavy ammo when the heavy is out)

Have you tested the eternal willpower vs the tamer? Considering eternal willpower has quite a bit more firearm atk I assumed with the correct build it would be better then the tamer.

Can u do a Freyna Build for good Ability damage with her ult ?

The fastest Tamer Farm is "Agna Desert/ North West Void Fragment Mission / Electric North of the Mining Outpost (With a good bunny, or two more you can finish these missions in sub 1 minute for a 50% chance Tamer.

The presets for loadouts are a bit confusing. Do you have any info that would help or a video about it coming. Wanna build a few chars but not loose the items when breaking down

Just noticed this while building my own, wouldn't weak point detection be better than weak point insight because 1% crit rate on a base 10% crit rate gun does nothing, meanwhile any extra atk % would help a lot more?

+100% Crit rate from modules isn't actually 100% crit rate. It increases your BASE by 100%. For bunny that's +10%, for sharen that's +20%, etc. Check your character's base crit to know if it's worth.
