I forgot to include Cirque Berserk by Jessica Guess in this favorites list! It was definitely one of my top reads of 2022. It is an 80s retro slasher that takes place at an amusement park and I highly recommend checking it out!

Thanks for all these recommendations I haven’t heard talked about on other channels. I haven’t read any of the ones on this list yet, but have read a couple of the authors. The Mary Shelley Club has been on my shelf for a while but I’ve just never gotten around to it. Maybe this month will be the month haha. YA is NOT my thing but the premise of this one does intrigue me. I’d recommend The Chain by Adrian Mckinty and Within These Walls by Ania Ahlborn! Both I read very quickly and were super fun (in a creepy, kidnapping, murdery, ghostly, culty way lol) :)

Fave book of the year was There is no antimemetics division by QNTM. Mind bending sci fi horror that was a total blast. If Hollywood doesn't find this book I will be shocked.
