Fella with the harmonica gave it his heart and soul. Don’t understand how it took so long for the judges to turn. He was amazing👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

i agree, and sometimes you just wonder what they wait for anyway, doing as if they would posess some sort of "super musical understanding" where there's only pure talent to listen to !

His voice was not great; I would've buzzed him in just from the audience's reaction though. GREAT harmonica playing and showmanship.

Okay, I think the judges don't realize how *difficult* it is to sing and play the harmonica at the same time--his lung capacity is incredible!

It doesn’t take a lot of lung capacity to play the harmonica. Also, almost all of the notes he’s playing are on the inhale which is quite helpful being that he’s exhaling when he sings.

I'm 66 years old. I grew up on the Blues. I went to many Blues festivals over the years. Any of these young people would of fit in at these events. Yes I would be happy to pay to see them play

I grew up singing the blues. Nothing like good blues sung by someone with the ear to tune the chords. In blues, it seldom that the vocal line is actually "in tune". Most of the time, blues singer are tuning to a 64th of a tone. The difference is so small the human ear doesn't really hear the difference. What we do hear is a chord the us alive, that has the resultant notes way up in the Gods, singing their loudest. When I wasn't singing blues I was singing baritone in a Barbershop chorus and quartet. A capella close harmony is another place where chords must be tuned. Singing in the cracks, as opposed to the white notes and black notes is difficult but also fun

I saw she's from Denpasar (Bali). I assume she's been a pub/bar singer there for many years. She sounds like a seasoned pro.

"This band"? You mean every band. Because in every country where the Voice exists the bands are fantastic. Every genre of music is thrown at them and they're outstanding every time.
We live in sad times when artists like theese with real soul and voice get 1,2 chairs turned.
Lucas should have gotten all 4 chairs. This guy is a STAR!

Definitly the German guy, Lucas. Het got the audience on fire. My Mojo was working too when he was performing.And then there was Max Blues Bird and Blessing and Melissa and Sebastiaan and Mariam and i had to question my first choice, difficult to pick one. To me it also depends on the song you've chosen
Lucas...what a talent! He has a look that BELONGS on the big screen. He has a classic retro look and style. We need to see more of him on tv or in movies. Great compilation, by the way. They were all very talented.

It's so impressed that Indonesia have this voice and interpret the feeling of blues because the culture and language are so different

Indonesia has a big blues scene, you won't see it but it's there. I used to jam every week with a bunch (30+) of guys and gals, and that was just one group in Jakarta. Pretty much every major city has some sort of blues group/club/jam night. It's fun :D

It's not the original though, it's a folk song which was first recorded in Appalachia in the 30's. There are a variety of lyrics. I personally like the Nina Simone version better. The Be Good Tanyas have a nice little version too.

I love the blues and grew up listening to it and even went to several Blues bars in my younger days. But it really is great to see people around the world enjoy it and that it isn't just a Gulf Coast and Southern USA sound but is so universal.
