I'm french, and I've seen my mom use a Pliage as the equivalent of a tote bag since I was little, now I'm 34, I have my own chocolate brown medium one, I get why my mom uses hers so much ! It's a nice-looking, sturdy and functional bag, as a travel carry-on, everyday, or shopping bag, and as you said the fact that it zips close makes it safer too !

I’ve had my Le Pliage for 12 years and it’s travelled thousands of miles with me on holiday and been used for work too over the years! It’s still going strong. It’s such a great bag, price point has universal appeal and is functional, chic and understated! Great video!

I have 3 in my collection and no kidding I've replaced nearly all other bags because it is really a workhorse and I love it. I have even washed it the machine on gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag. Came out perfect. Honestly spot clean and go. ❤

I didn’t like them at first because they were everywhere. After having one, I immediately get the hype. They’re so practical!

Once you see them nicely dressed you get the hype of them, I was also a hater turned lover on lepliage.

I have both a Neverfull and a Le Pliage, I travel more with my Longchamp and use the Neverfull organizer in my Longchamp and it is life changing what I can fit in there. I have had two Longchamp for over 10 years and despite all of the travels, seasons, spills, it still looks fabulous! True luxury:)

Got my first Le Pliage Tote bag when I was at University in 1983…. And still always have one or two in my closet /collection still to this day. A great bag that has a solid history. And workmanship that outdoes most brands!!! They also have a repair or replace guarantee!!! Win-win!! And just FYI should your corners wear through Longchamp will repair it (no matter how old the piece is) at no cost to you one time!

I just bought my first. It was 250 dollars I think it’s the larger size that you can wear crossbody. I love it. It’s so versatile and I feel stylish too! I have a YSL that I can’t wear that much because I’m afraid it’s going to get ruined or stolen… so this is so much better

Thank you for reviewing this bag. I’ve had mine for many years and I use it everyday for work, carrying it on the train. It holds my laptop, headphones, wallet, a sundries bag, and a heeled pair of shoes to change into at work. I also take it with me whenever I travel. It’s both practical and polished looking. My love for Longchamp is eternal! It’s versatile, low maintenance and VERY durable! It’s my favorite overnight travel and shopping bag. I literally put anything in it when I go to the supermarket (including fresh produce and seafood). I have 2 specific ones for grocery and farmers market shopping. Best value for money!

In high school we used these as backpacks. Lasted me all the way through college too. I still have it, I just don’t use it anymore because it seems a bit dated. But the only wear you see are a few holes in the corners and dirt. And this is from carrying textbooks in it every day + travel. I was thinking recently it would be nice to get some new ones, bring the trend back. They’re just so high quality and look decent-an elevated version of a tote bag. Would highly recommend!

I got the expandable travel bag. I would prefer to minimize the strap further than possible. I would prefer longer leather handles. Other than that: I love it! Best weekender bag ever. I travel zipped up and when I shop a lot i size up. Brilliant.

I got my first Longchamp Le Pliage about a year ago. I didn't know what all the fuss was about, until I owned one. It's stylish, sleek & best of all, it holds so much stuff. I definitely want to get another one.

If you live in NYC, this bag has been part of the NY uniform for women. We have known of its value for decades. Very durable.

Hmm... when I worked at Nordstrom, this bag came back the most often for rips, tears, and broken zippers. Also the straps would unravel all the time 🤷🏾‍♀️

I love Longchamp! I have their Le Pliage, backpack, travel bag and shoulder bag. The quality is superb and affordable. My Le Pliage is almost 20 yrs old and it still looks brand new except for the corners lolz

I just bought 10 le pliage top handle and long handle this year and I looooooove them. Love the different colors and yes it used to cost less.

I've been very interested in the brand for a while now. It looks so practical and classic.

Well, funny that this video is called like that because this is literally the first luxury bag I'm considering buying :) Been looking into it this summer. I've seen a friend use it for so long and I really like the variety of colors and customizable options. It's so useful to be able to fold it to such a small size.

Totally agree with your overview of Longchamp. I don't "believe in" spending thousands for "luxury" brands, Longchamp is my go-to for purses, bags, scarves, and accessories like bag charms. I recently bought the Energie Camera Bag (men's collection) in France. I put it in a tote with a soft drink bottle that leaked, to take it back to my hotel. Everything else in the tote was damaged, but NOT the Longchamp bag. I just wiped it off with a damp paper towel and it's good as new. It's perfect for travel, holds my iPhone and iPad mini, AND the zipper can be locked using the strap clasp - perfect. Longchamp has an outlet just outside Paris and several in the U.S., also one at Bicester Village. I shop the outlets whenever possible for last-season good buys.

I love mine and have had it in the large since 2014.

The MoMcoco bags are gorgeous in their size, weight and color. Bought pink, cream and blue. I think I might go back and order the light lilac, light blue and red. I own some high priced designer handbags, but I like these even more!

When it became common here in the Philippines in the 2000's, I thought it was overrated. When I got a hand me down and used it for travel, that's when it clicked -- it was so lightweight yet so durable... plus the zip and flap for double security. I'm now a fan, I don't care anymore if I look basic. 😂 Unfortunately, these are hard to find in preowned as there are soooo many fakes. I've just ordered a preowned Le Pliage backpack and I really really hope I got a legit one.

It’s the equivalent to the Ray ban aviators. It’s a timeless casual bag. I adore my XS lepliage and my Ray Bans. I don’t care how many beautiful designer sunglasses exist im a Ray ban girl All the way and I think I’m going the same path with Longchamp lepliage

Such a good bag. I have a few different colours. Stress free easy to wipe down and pack away.

I had one, sold it, and now I reentering the workforce and looking to purchase the black one. I originally wanted the Neverfull but the price tag is too much for a Canvas bag. Your video solidifies why I need to get the Longchamp again.

With the rise in crime, especially toward luxury brand items, I'm considering this for days I go on public transportation. I've a large Louis Vuitton vintage logo vinyl sort-of bucket bag initially designed to hold 4 bottles of champagne. That was my go-to roomy day bag, but not for the time being.

I like my Le Pliage and use it often. I do have a problem with the corners wearing.

I like the look of this bag (more elegant) better than Prada but the corners worn out quickly after several usages. I had Prada for 15 years. it is more durable. I will see if Longchamp will repair that bag.

another than, Longchamp nylon has NO compartments. it ends up being a mess in side.

Wow this could have been a perfect bag for me with 2 young children practical aswell as looking less "Mumsy" than the usual baby change/bags. I might have to invest ( unless I win 🤞), I need a good work bag as I'm a T.A and have all kinds of weird and wonderful things in my bag 😂 thanks for sharing 😉

Now you can get a lepliage backpack. I’m not a backpack kind of girl but for the ones who are, the longchamp ones are really nice. Here on my country backpacks are quite insecure. Easy to be pick pocket victim but if you live In a more secure country, then go for your lepliage backpack.

Son bolsas muy infravaloradas en especial las de la línea lepliage, yo era de las que las infravaloraban me cambié de bando pase de odiarlas a amarlas.

My friend sold the *condup* and it looks like the real thing you showed. It even comes with an authenticity card that matches the serial number of each bag. But her fake was $500.

Longchamp Le Pliage is a work horse and for the price point you can’t go wrong. The corners do wear out the fastest but if you take good care of them I’m sure that won’t happen to yours

The one I use the most is M & L with the cross straps. So useful! And sometimes I pack the XL in case I went overboard with shopping. Takes no space in my suitcase and it’s so useful.

This is a classic. It’s a winner in my mind. It’s $180 in Canada

I do love this brand but the sizing of the shoulder bags large vs the totes in large is very different and somewhat confusing.
