One set that people often overlook - Runic Set. It wasn't the best before DE, but now... maybe you'll cover it in a short video? It has some of the worst stamina/speed decreases, but it's only on the surface. With special enchants, you can boost your speed to about 13% while wearing armor this heavy. And with stamina - using the Mercenary passive (because of the enchants the passive does not work on speed) and the biggest sleeping stamina buff (luxury tent), you'll have -5% stamina reduction. All this while having 7 Protection, 7 Barrier and 44% Physical and Impact resistance, as well as boosting Lightning (20%), Ethereal (10%) and Decay damage (10%). Did I mention that it also gives a slight mana reduction - 15%? I'd say it's the best all-rounder armor in the game.

runic does seem pretty good. I was planning on making enchanted runic armor, but needed the materials to test out the tenebrous set. I'm definitely planning on trying runic my next play through

Oh absolutely. I used the full set for a ethereal build a while back. The enchants for runic armor make you have amazing movement speed.

I used this set for the first time I fought Plague Doctor, Possessed, discipline and elemental resistance and he could barely do a thing. Works really well for both Lich bosses in the swamp

This is a fantastic way to go about that fight. Especially against the plague doctor as he has very little physical damage and almost entirely deals decay.

You attacking the scourge with horror weapons is a slap in my face.

Love this set, I try to get it as early as I can. It's great for dungeoneering throughout the game and amazing against decay and lightning. Plus I think it's among the best fashion in the game too

I would agree. The overall usability of it is fantastic. Exploring Caldera while still early on in the game is much easier in this set as the poison gases doesn't kill you and heat means nothing.

Was gonna have a playthrough with the Levant faction soon, now I know what armor I'm wearing 👍

One of the better sets that doesn't seem to be something everyone goes for immediately. Had to talk about it a bit more.

I discovered this set with my first trip to Levant, and I haven't taken it off since. Recently added Aegis to it.

Entomber armor has been my go to armor on my first couple of characters, I still love it!

It works very well. I mean physical damage hurts but this much resistance to decay and lightning is amazing.

This has actually been one my my favorite's since even before definitive edition. Carried me through monsoon pretty much by itself in my first playthrough. Decent mobility, stamina regen, and strong resistances to lightning and decay (including physical), with no downsides. I often find myself just throwing the boots on random sets just for those small bonuses (currently using Entomber boots + Elite Hood + Master Desert armor together). I only wish it had a unique enchantment to make it stand out more considering it is the main armor used by the guards in Levant.

Definitely agree it should have some cool enchantment. Honestly I wish the spirit of levant also worked for this set as it is clearly a major part of that town.

5:30 I am currently playing Outward for the first time, and this IS the armor set I naturally gravitated towards!

Nice choice. It will get you through the game very nicely and without too much stamina hastle.

This is my go to set before getting the squire set. Also perfect farming set for Berg boss battle.

It is probably the best set for that lich fight. Makes you immune to both lightning and decay without slowing you down. Feels great to wear in hot regions as well.

Always use it Replase the body part of blue send armor to this set and you be protective and with out negative stats(yes, lover physical and impact resistant and you need "Armor traning", but your also have highter decay and lighting resistens)

I've used the chestpiece and boots for my fire spear build, really good armor in general, has too much to offer and doesn't have any mali too! Now I'm currently using the chestpiece for my frost assassin build, the stamina cost reduction and movement speed really helps.

Totally agree. The chestplate alone is worth using on several different kinds of builds. I have it on for my chakram build actually.

The lack of damage bonus is a noticeable hit to the set, but all the other stats make it good in other ways.

I cant stop playing full mage builds so its all mana reduction armor for me.

I had that armor set on my assassin with Canon pistol and dagger. I wanna also note Master desert veil. Just a veil. That one has enormous buffs for a helmet. It's funny, but heavy armor is great for mages. As they use stamina basicly just on running, lol. So for my mages heavy armor and magical hat are things to go)

Magical hats in particular feel amazing in this game. The wide blue hat has such high negative mana cost that it really helps you out as soon as you get to Berg and buy it.

I am currently running the entomber armor with wide blue hat as well. Incredible stats. Good stamina, mana, and defense. Never knew this was so usable!

Ya this set unfortunately does not get any protection. Mostly because its a light set but the elemental resistance sure feels nice regardless.

I've started a new build. It's an assistant build. It uses daggers and decay. I wanted to know what build I should make next? Hunter(GreatAxe) or Knight(Claymore)?

Definitely go for claymore. The two handed sword is extremely strong and messing with all the counters gives it a lot more power.

thats my favorite set, I discovered it doing a build with the green poison spear and I use it on almost every build but I dnot know what enchantment is goos on it

Entomber set is great if you wanna make swamp bosses a breeze. Ceviche+buff make you immune to decay or lightning. While there are better sets for fighters, its actually great for a mage character for this reason, lets you get your caster sets ez. About spears, they are an ok weapon, but lack of a good weapon skill hamper it a lot, Simeons Gambit cooldown is too long. Other weapons are just better imo. Maybe try making a parry build with 90% cooldown reduction and spears or greatswords?

I see your current build has no mana. I'm following your monster hunter build, but trying to tweak it to use gun and one handed axe. Is this a better armor set, or should I consider the addition fire defense from the monster hunter? Will using an axe mean I will need more stamana? I just got the taronasour axe(getting use to the shortness), but I'm worried at eating my durability. I'm also having to be very co op focused for my roommate and saw your skill tree ranking video where you said the totem skill tree was good for that anyway.

I love this armour as it's light and offers great defence. It's also free for the most part! What's the best armour to go up against the rust lich?

Best armor for rust lich is hard to say. Something with lighting resist isn't bad but that fight is so different from the others. You have ethereal, lightning, and fire damage. Plus physical from the golems. I would like to think mobility is more important in that fight than anything else. Also using the ghost drums makes any armor usable. It sort of breaks that fight in every way lol.

Dancer is the ideal choice for a madman with nothing left to lose. Infinite stamina and pure raw skill.

Just got this set and it's working really well in Abrassar, but I noticed that I could get the tsar set in levant and I was wondering what kind of build can you do with tsar? Just pure physical tank? Has anyone ever done a tsar build?

Tsar armor is pretty much pure physical tank. You are pretty much immune to fire damage as well. The problem is that you instantly die to elements such as decay, frost, ethereal, and lightning. Not necessarily a bad set, but tricky to use since its makes you very slow as well. (The boots go great with other sets.)

@@SheenShotsI kinda figured as much. The elemental damage sources kinda made me worry the set is worthless unless I had a different build that maximized elemental def. I made the helmet and I'm using it with the entomber set. I'm still in Abrassar and I noticed I needed to use more climate buffs, but combat and exploring is good and I like the look alot better than the feather cap of the normal entomber. It's fashionsouls all over again.

This or between tenebrous armor I’m thinking to use for my dps polearm build when it comes to protection

I would mix the entomber chest plate with the tenebrous hat and boots. The stats on the other two for that set are very good.

I use this set almost always till end game. Then it’s just a good run around set. It’s to good not to have available.

Yes all myrmitaur are weak to decay except the unique one. The queen in the hive there is completely immune to decay I believe.

I don't' remember exactly tbh, but Holy Mission will be the best fit for it. Heroic also works but Holy Mission offers some more helpful tools in terms of passives.

I've been looking for an easy way to get 100% decay resist so I can use shriek without having to use my brain. Do you think this would be a good option for that?

If you use the jade lich armour u can be fully immune. Plus do alot of dmg

Jade lich armor, silver armor, or entomber armor are your best choices. Entomber is the best with shriek if you take holy mission for 20 extra decay resistance. Then just use a boon and yo are immune to poison or decay damage. (Also take Cabal Hermit skill tree for that.)

First of all, if one want to buy Entomber Set they should buy it in Caldera not Emerkar at all (-60% discount on prices in Caldera at the SILKWEAVER factoryyyy ...[that was my giants sponsor] ;) ) . Most powerfull builds are based on Ethearal & Lightning : That s it . If some are resistant to one of those,use the other, and let s debuf them to become very very weak .. :) And BAAAM !!! Voila !

True. Still a very useful set for resistance. I think someone told me the chestplate with blue sand boots and helm grants really high resistances.

@@SheenShots Definitely . Regarding elemental resistances it s the tanky version of the Arcane set . In Oldward with potions , shamanic resonance and lantern of souls, you could reach full immunity except for bleeding . But I think it has been nerfed since . One of my very very first build while it s easy to make it in Cierzo , but too sllow, too heavy and too tanky for me .

I hate the hat man I play this game almost like dark souls if I don't like an outfit visually I won't wear it
