I've been running the IWB full sweat for over a year. It's the last holster I'll ever buy for my M&P Shield 9mm. If I do get another carry gun, I will totally be calling the Grunt Guys for a new one. Their quality is awesome.

I've found that the Remora brand holsters with the Sweat Shield option have worked the best for appendix carry (which is my preferred carry method 90% of the time). Adjustable depth/cant, easy draw, easy on/off, comfortable, durable, and VERY affordable. Actually wearing one right now as I type this with a S&W M&P Shield 9.

I have to agree, these holsters are awesome appendix carry holsters. I picked one up 5 yrs ago after seeing this video, now I own 3! I do prefer to swap out the clips (nice as far as clips go) for Pull the Dot loop snaps.

Just ordered one of these like 2 minutes ago after watching this vid 10 times. After comparing a dozen or so similar holsters, this one looks the best as far as simplicity and comfort. Galco has a couple similar items but for $25 more. Can't wait to get it although I see their wait times are around 5 weeks. I don't mind waiting for cool stuff though. Keep the vids coming, I have bought a few things based on them, and it takes a lot to get me to spend my money, so that's sayin' somethin'.

Nice holster. I use the Ingog from G code and I have never looked back.

Been using appendix carry for the last year or so since I received my G-Code and started using the INCOG holster/Crossbreed 1.5" belt (using SOOTCH00 discount, THANKS!!). I've used other appendix holsters' with the G17, G19 or G26 but the INCOG is the best so far, love the combat fuzz exterior on an appendix carry holster. The holster is perfectly designed for appendix carry. I think having Travis Haley in on the design was DEFINITELY a good thing.

Dark matter tactical raptor series holster is very similar to this holster, I carry my Glock 23 with it. The incog holster with the mag holster attched by g-code looks really nice. Has a nice price too though.

I bought one of these for my Kahr CW9 about 6 months ago (on the strength of this review). Sootch is right, this holster just plain works. It seems like a simple IWB appendix carry holster like this would be the simplest thing in the world to make, but most of them suck. Most are too bulky, have annoying sharp edges, of have excess plastic that dig into stomach or thighs when sitting. This holster is sturdy and secure, but keeps as close as practical to the silhouette of the pistol. The only holster I've had that adds less bulk to a pistol is a MIC holster. The 5 week delivery time seems forever in these days of Amazon Prime 2 day delivery, but the product is worth the wait. If you need something quick, the Skinny Rig from Zorn is my second favorite IWB holster. You can get one in a couple of days, but they're more limited in what firearms they fit.

Finding the right gun and holster is the Holy Grail of CCW. Here in Florida this winter it's been a S&W BG 380 in a Desantis Pocketshot holster. BTW, I'm convinced if the 380 was called a 9mm Kurz there would be fewer comments about how ineffective it is as a personal defense bullet. After seeing this video, I'm giving serious consideration to making my G19 instead of the Beretta Nano my EDC. I too favor appendix carry.... Always enjoy your reviews!

I have a Glock 27, and bought one of these holsters for $35 from the Glockstore......I like it but wasnt sure if I am able to adjust the cant of it......maybe its just because I am not used to carrying because I literally just got my CCW Permit recently, definitely not a pain issue, just trying to conceal it better, who knows....maybe its the lack of having a good gun belt since I am using just a regular belt............Love your videos!!!

Sootch, looks like a good rig. If your an appendix carry fan you need to try out the INCOG from G-Code. I have been carrying the INCOG at the appendix position for 5 months now and have yet to find a holster that tops it.

I bought a Center of Mass (COM) holster very similar to this one and didn't find it comfortable at all. Now, that being said, I'm not saying it wouldn't work for anyone else, but for me it was a no-go. The chief complaint was that it dug into my leg/hip joint when I sat down. The holster by Grunt Gear looks clean, well made and definitely good craftsmanship.

You need to try the incog holster from g-code if you want a appendix holster or just a inside the waist band holster its great! Cause I know you love g-code

I'm about to turn 21 next month taking my CHL class the same day. I saved up to get myself a glock 17 with a X 300 ultra light, what holster would you recommend for concealed carry with that kind of light?

I have very similar holster with awesome fit and finish from PJ Holster. He offers a lot more options than just Glock and S&W. He should offer SA pistols especially with the popularity of the XDs series.

I have tried all sorts of holsters for appendix and ended always falling back on the simple uncle mikes cloth type holster. No frills just a sleeve of cloth with a clip.

If I had only known how much fun grandkids were I would have had them instead of kids!! 👍😊

that looks like a fine AIWB holster. i just don't like that type of belt clip. Once i got the stingray from Clinger holsters, i was hooked. similar to yours above, but the belt clip is far superior IMHO.
