Glad you're liking it! Regrettably, these only seem to come in the grey color. The taupe color, which goes with the tan interior, can't be found on these. I picked up a Honda OEM double DIN radio kit, put a Pioneer CarPlay/Android in it and it works great. Even with the proper color code for the taupe dash, there was still a difference in coloring from the aged paint on the speedomoter cowl and the radio, but it's better than a taupe/grey combo, IMO.

Thank you for the video! Do you know if the new version will get rid of that delay on the screen for Apple Carplay? I can see that when swiping the delay

Hi! Did your 2 screws under the radio go back in with the aftermarket head unit? I just installed mine and there’s no way it would work there. Without them it seems a bit shaky to me.

I know it would seem pointless because it has Bluetooth but does the factory aux port still work? Mine didn't when I put in a similar unit.

It's not pointless. Bluetooth audio is junk. Aux jack audio is the best possible sound quality, outside of playing sound off of the radio itself.

@@ricky-sanchez this is true. Bluetooth HD exists such as APTX HD but it’s pretty uncommon. I’m not a tech guru or much of an audiophile, but this is my understanding, and my Bluetooth headphones sound WAY better with APTX HD

You skipped the part i needed. The wire harness connection -__- im suspecting i got the wrong harness like you said you did... Why didnt you show that .... -______-

Question for Electronics expert: 1)Can i link a reverse camera with this head unit? How? 2)How about if i install aftermarket door mirrors, with blindspot cameras, can i feed the picture to the head unit, everytime i signal left/right? How? 3)Possible to attach a camera for video chatting through this head unit?

@@RizTraveller well to do it you would need someone who knows how do this, you have to splice the wiring to the head unit and run wires through the side mirror into the car along with connecting a camera for video chat and reverse, hope my comment helped more than yours…

It looks like you uploaded this video about 10 months ago. After 10 months of use, how does your sister-in-law still like the Idoing unit? It looks really good, but I'm a little hesitant to spend that much money on something from China with probably no support whatsoever other than videos such as yours.

⁠@@jacobhughes6433has 2 sets of standard red white rca cables on one of the harnesses from what I see online. Not sure if theyre used during installation. Hope this helps

Yeah……. I bought a civic the previous owner put a tablet style android auto thing in. Out of random I started to peel the dash today, no tools required and didn’t remove it all the way, just peeled it back enough to get a look behind the unit. Not surprised by what I found, my 4 way flashers work now, guess that blue pig tail plug is for an airbag or whatever (probably why the idiot light is on on the dash). Gonna probably watch this a couple times before I get the nerve to rip it all out and try to put it back in the right way. Can’t figure out how to turn down the screen brightness, only option on it is the font size and video output or something like that

Don't do it. I got the cheaper version and sound quality is not good.

As much as I look at them radios the more they look like trash. Seeing it Installed on the civic made it worse for me. I guess its just not my cup of tea.

this stereo is junk my boy get a JVC or something known these cheap android radios are slow and buggy. Also people shouldn’t be seeking Netflix on a mf car
