Love this review, Amika is amazing!! There's something to be said for professional haircare products!

The Amika soul food nourishing mask is amazingggg! My hair is frizzy, dry, and damaged. This mask has helped make it softer and look cleaner and healthier. In top of that it smells amazing too!! If you try a mask from them, you should totally try this one!!!

I love watching your videos! I loved the serum from Amika, it saved my hair when I was really into coloring my hair.

Me too!! I basically love everything that I've tried from them lol. I should make an update to this because they've come out with some bangers in the past year!

I loove this brand so much. Just made a big purchase of nothing but their products on Sephora. I'm super excited to try to leave in conditioner. I love the curl defining cream and dry shampoo..shine mask and soul food. All of the products I've tried are just superb quality. I'll have to try that salt infused shampoo!

That's so funny! I found the Amika Dry Shampoo through the same Birchbox but forgot the name of it for years until I saw it at the salon my hairstylist is at 😍

I've been SO curious about Amika products! The exfoliating jelly shampoo sounds amazing! I might pick up the heat protectant serum, definitely sounds better than a spray!

I have! I really like it! I prefer their round brush version of it, because I don’t wear my hair straight a ton, but if you love sleek straight hair, it’s your friend!

I have a question for you @Mod Young! I'm thinking of trying the Kure shampoo and conditioner for my frizzy, wavy, very tangled hair. I've got a lot of breakage also. Do you think it would help?

Out of all their options I definitely think the Kure line is the most nourishing and restorative. You also might benefit from Velveteen dream balm, it helps a ton with frizz!

I don't really have any tips! It's pretty easy to use! I use it before I use any heat on my dry hair. It helps keep the hair sealed into place and prevents frizz! I also use it on my damp hair :). Just be sure to not use too much (the amount everyone needs depends on their hair type/length, so you will find the balance!)

Have you tried the plus size perfect body mousse? I also have a fine hair but it’s thick!

Hi! If your concern is maintaining the health of your hair, the Kure shampoo & Conditioner are great. If you’re concerned with brassiness, the bust your brass line is great! I use the bust your brass conditioner mixed with a conditioning mask whenever my blonde starts to get a little brassy. The Vault leave in conditioner is excellent as well! You’re welcome. Can you describe what the "signature" amika scent is? Having trouble finding a review that describes the smell, especially for the light hold hairspray

It’s sort of light, sort of floral? Not too floral though. I can’t compare it to anything really. It’s a scent that I feel is pretty neutral and with most of their products the scent doesn’t linger. My husband uses amika and I do too and we both enjoy the scent. Sorry I can’t be more help! If there’s a Sephora near you, they carry their products in most stores and the scent across the whole line is more or less the same!

what product of the amika leaves that perfume scent in your hair the most?

I think they’re all about the same. They have a hair perfume (or at least they used to) if you want more lingering scent!
