American-made EDC is an EXCELLENT category of knives to explore. THANK YOU. SIR! I always try to buy knives made in America and allied countries. Several other good categories for videos are American survival, camping, and tactical knives.

Seth V. This was your best video yet. Thank you sir!
Seth is so good. My favorite American made knife is definitely the Buck 110 Sport. Call me old school but being able to have that knife lighter with a pocket clip and thumb stud is a dream come true. I have to jump om the Marilla I just keep forgetting to order it.

So hyped, excited to get my hands on one
Finally!!! New content...6 whole days without a new KC video had me pacing the interwebs for my fix... Now, on to the video!
My EDC was a spyderco pm2 for almost a month, i didnt like it so i traded it for a benchmade 570-1. I absolutely love my 570, its a great large knife for EDC. Id recommend it for someone who is looking for a 3.5-4 inch folder with good materials.
I've been collecting & using knives for 25+ years and I would have to agree that the Benchmade Bugout delivered the biggest change to the idea of an 'EDC knife' in all that time. Leveraging off advances in materials & including modern features the Bugout really brought it all together and I thinks its sales prove the point. From this list it's the Para 3 for me (sorry I'm a Spyderco fanboy and the blade better suits my needs). Always love these types of vids - makes you realise the good stuff out there.
Love it. Personally I prefer my customized Osborne 940 to the Bugout but still a great choice
Seth, son....no brush or comb in the house....brilliant video.👍👍👍🏴🏴🏴🍺🍺🍺
Seth is tha blade boss, he's the sharp edge samurai, he's the blade steel stud. Seriously though boss amazing job like always. Your description is always on point.
Good choice on knives Seth. I absolutely love my Tactile Turn knives. The Bexar is the quintessential gentleman’s knife and the Rockwall, which you did not mention, is such an awesome EDC knife.
Love the video seth. My normal work edc is the original buck ranger 112 slim select. Love it. Easy to sharpen and last long enough for what i need it for and love the fact its USA made and the price was awesome. I know it doesnt have the adjustable pivot but i can flick it open with ease after using it awhile. Great knife and i think its under appreciated
Victorinox Huntsman in pocket, Buck 110 on hip, Leatherman Surge next to the Buck. Worked for me for decades now. But some of those knives looked pretty good too. Kinda pricey, but nice.
Awesome job as always Seth. I was wondering when we were gonna see you again, and then we got 2 in a row. Great list me. Love your picks.
Asked for American made awhile ago! Glad ya did one.
Holy moly, those lovely locks! Keep growing that 'do, Seth!
Thank you for this great episode - and thanks for your work!

I can definitely vouch for the Bugout and the Chasm. By far the two best EDC knives that I own! I own more knives than I should, and those two are the two knives that get the most pocket time by far! I also need to check out that 112 Sport, every time I see it in a video, I always want to buy one! A modern version of a classic!
Seth, did you comb your hair with an m-80? 🤣 Joking. I dig the hair 👌🏻
Great video! On a similar wavelength, I'm certain us here up north would greatly appreciate a similar video on Canadian-made knives. I personally do not know of any off the top of my head, but I'm positive a few exist that are at least worth a mention.

North Arm Knives, out of Burnaby BC. They make an absolutely fantastic folder called The Skaha. Be warned: there is a months-long waiting list to get one.
Spectacular video, Gents! Of late I have been focusing almost entirely on USA made knives and other EDC gear. This is a spectacular selection! Appreciate your time with this one, Seth! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
I still think the Benchmade 940 is a far better EDC choice than any knife on that table! Thanks for the video.
Seth’s hair looks more epic every video
For my USA made it's my Spyderco PM2 and my Benchmade Mini-bugout which I gave to my wife. Both are fantastic knives for every day

Can't argue with those choices. I still have to get around to buying a PM2. The last two times I intended to buy a PM2 I ended up getting a Kapara then a K320.
Great video and some great knives on the table. Way to go Seth
That Buck is sweet! I carried a Buck 422 to the first Gulf war and it served me well I have carried a knife of some sort every day since then!
Para3 LW is just tuff to beat. And no dang springs to break when you least expect it.
I have the para3 LW with the SPY27, love it!

Wish the Blur would've made the cut. My fav Kershaw edc
Great video. Thank you.
I really enjoyed this weeks video and cannot wait for my Bexar to come in so I came get a review up on my channel about this one. 👍
Seth's playin' chicken, shutting that Dividend!! Lol! Be careful man!
Thank you for posting knives made in the USA!
fairly new to the knife game. I wasn’t a fan of spyderco. Just thought the hype was fake till I bought the lightweight on Seth’s table. It is my absolute favorite knife.
I love this list Seth! I have some great imported pocket knives but have been trying to acquire high quality USA made knives more recently. The Tactile Rockwall thumb stud was the most recent. I love it and hope to get a Bexar someday. I also have a Para 3 Maxamet, Gerber Fastball and a Hogue Ritter RSK MK1 full size and Mini. I’m tempted to go down the list and get the others. Maybe one a month.
Finally a dividend makes a video. Better than the Leek and the Link.
My current EDC is a Hogue compound glow Rhino button and it is very sharp from the factory and I have had many knives over the years but the sharpest blade I have ever had from a factory knife was my Cobratec OTF Enforcer 3.25" That knife was retarded sharp I've never seen a knife that sharp.
Love the Spy27 steel info … 👍🏻
Awesome selection mate.!
Great job Seth !!
I own many knives. My absolute favorite is the Zero Tolerance 0357.

It's a good knife. I've got a Dividend (my go-to,) Link, Leek, and Chive. They all have their uses, though the Chive I use the least.
Daaaamnn, you might have me sold on that Karakurt!
Good stuff. I like the new look.
Excellent line up and I have a few of them.
you guys more than once got me to flip open my knife just for the sake of feeling it; oftentimes I watch your vids and you get that satisfaction and fun about knives across so well, so infectuous, I get that craving haha, catch myself with my pocket knife in hand just playing, running my eyes and hands over it, not even doing any task other than enjoying it 😀 like when you watch a cooking show and weren't even hungry but *poof* you open the fridge

Dude, same here! Can't help but fidget with my EDC rotation and bust out some safe queens when watching
@arrowheadguys7637

@@slywolfe I just keep a random selection of knives with various actions on my side table, so whenever they're talking about a particular type of locking mechanism I can grab the same type and fidget with it while they discuss it. Its even better when they bring up one of the knives I have on the table. Bonus points for when I snap it open simultaneously with the knife on the video and the audio syncs up. And yes, I know I have problems.

@@daadadda I do the same thing lol, I'll realize he's done talking about a knife I wanted to hear about and have to go back to the beginning of that segment
Was kinda disappointed to not see the pm2 on here which is what I carry. I get that it’s bigger than what some people would prefer for an EDC. But I still find that it fits easily in my pocket and it’s not super heavy. And when deployed the longer handle plus the thumb ramp is such a great combo. I feel power and confidence behind the blade of a pm2 that I haven’t quite experienced with other EDC knives I’ve tried. I also love the bugout and have carried it a lot, but the pm2 just feels so freakin solid. Every time I use it I’m reminded why I gravitate towards it more than other offerings. But to each their own :) Thanks for the vid!
My current folding edc is the Benchmade 496 Vector, but I change quite often because I own so many edc folders. I also edc a fixed blade. My favorite for a year now is the Benchmade Hunt series Steep Country 15006. The geometry & blade material of this knife is the perfect size for carrying inside the belt but outside the pants waist. It disappears underneath my untucked shirts & doesn't print through.
Spy27 has notable edge retention increase over s30v/s35vn. It's the most strop responsive steel I have ever owned. Edge retention from my tests is a solid 15-20% over S30v.
Another great vid by TKC.
Nice, I like them all!
Love this video! Looking for recommendations of next level up ($300-$500) EDC options. If possible, 3” or just under.
Big fan of the 112 Ranger Sport. Been carrying it for a couple of months.
Perfect!
The Civic Vagabond is a really good knife. To be honest for EDC it's perfect, and cheap. I carry mine all day, use it it alot every day.
Nice selection Spider Monkey, Case Mirilla, DP X gear....Good show ⚔️🗡⚔️
I prefer the Kershaw link because of the 20cv powder Damascus stainless steel. It's been my everyday carry for the past 3 years. I have been considering picking up a Kershaw Dividend.🤔
Good job Seth!
Nice selection, Seth! 👍 I love the DPx HEST/F. The jimping is supposed to be wire stripper, BTW.
Ok Dirk Digler I love the new Case you showed. Had no idea they made anything modern.
Well done Seth. 🤟
My favorite EDC’s are the Bugout, 940 and Elementum
I’m excited for more Seth videos
I’m patiently waiting for my hogue deka in magnacut from you guys.
Seth, are you a Mark Twain fan? You could be a direct descendent. Thanks for the videos! Well done.
Would be nice if you included the prices on all the knives not just a few.
Unavailable from the knifecenter sadly but the RSK from hogue is amazing.

Nice Seth. I wish Kershaw would go back to using 14c28n on their budget lines. I wish they re-did the Deadline wharncliffe bladed folder (with upgraded steel a better pivot and standoffs instead of having screws anchored directly in the spacer).
I always try to buy American knives but there are some beautiful foreign knives.

I wish they could get some new/better designers at some of the featured companies, and unless you're spending big bucks right now you're stuck with some UGLY stuff. No thank you to plastics, carbon fiber, and star trek looking designs. I've never liked chunky ZTs or other overbuilt knives, not a fan of what case has been putting out (aesthetically), modern kershaws, spydercos, the list goes on... What really blows my mind is that a company like case or buck hasn't ventured into modernizing traditional designs, like how did Pena manage to beat Case to the punch in making a framelock trapper? Hell if you look at the Twosun ts232, doesn't that scream high quality american pocketknife? I have one, and it's fantastic, probably one of my most beloved knives. But it took a chinese manufacturer to do it first?! Lazy, unimaginative, greedy corner-cutting accountants and executives is how. Benchmade puts out some good looking stuff, I have a bugout with brass scales, love it!
@arrowheadguys7637
2 жыл бұрын
@@Ajaxykins Kinda have the same tastes. Wish there were more "modern classics". I don't care for most uber-tactical or fantasy/futuristic designs. I've been really impressed with some of Civivi's button locks lately. The Cogent, Elementum (button), Altus, Conspirator are all right on point, aside from me wishing they offered better steel selections. The new Chevalier they just put on the website for pre-order has me very excited. I'm hoping these catch on and the big name manufacturers catch on.
The tactile is super cool
The only modern folder I really like is the bugout. I usually carry slipjoints like the case sodbuster jr or the victorinox small tinker and don't really like the look or feel of most locking knives. But that bugout looks perfect, its just so expensive.
Jimping/wire gauge on the DPX is a clever idea; dunno how many edc'ers will use it but it certainly doesn't get in the way!
It was interesting to see that the Sodbuster Jr. had what appeared to be a stonewashed blade. I remember them in the past having a very high polished blade.
Nice choices for american made blades, however, I wish you could have included Bear and Son. They have some good designs in their tactical line. The Rancor is an awesome knife!
Great Job Seth! Btw, Pro-Tech moved to Placentia California a year or two ago...
My favorites are definately the CRK inkosi with the insingo blade and hinderer Eklipse

Not under $300 though
I like assisted and I only use knives with the crossbar locking mechanism.
Kershaw Link should be on there and it's got 20CV and it's under $100.
BENCHMADE 535-x. 🥇THIS IS THE WAY 🤘
I like my knives to be built on earth so it’s gotta be Spyderco
The Bugout is a nice knife but the quintessential EDC from Benchmade is absolutely the 940.
I'm a little confused with your choice of the Boker. The Kershaw Launch 1 is a very similar design with the same steel, and a thinner handle, and half the price. In my opinion the only category the Kershaw loses in would be that the pocket clip is not deep carry. Just my .02¢.
Seth needs to review switchcombs
