We're checking out some of my favorite Pokemon card shops in Akihabara. In this series, I try to complete an age-old collection goal by buying vintage holos from Japanese card shops to fill the holes in my binder. Even better, I give you some tips and tricks on where to find the best Pokemon deals in Tokyo, Japan.

Thanks for the showcasing of the stores! Did you find prices higher in akihabara than other areas with card shops. That’s what I’ve been told is normal

going next month, in general what do you think is the best card shops for pokemon with fair prices around tokyo? I heard ikebukuro has really good places.

Thanks for watching! Check out my Ikebukuro video. I'd say just go to as many as you can and compare prices before buying anything. Some are better than others, but it always depends. Have fun on your trip!

Most take cards, but it's always good to have cash on hand in Japan.
Good to know prices are terrible in Japan too..

The prices just reflect the current market. I wish everything was as cheap as it was in 2016 lol.

@@Dark_ibex 100% 2016 is when Pokémon go came out so the resurgence in the fan base helped skyrocket the prices..
