A* Exam Advice from Top Physics Olympiad Students
I interviewed some award winning students at the 2024 BPhO Awards Ceremony in London. They had completed various challenges throughout the year, from projects to papers and many were soon to be competing in International Olympiads against other questions.
Here is some of their advice for preparing for exams, from reflecting on the past papers just completed, to using the specification to make detailed notes.

Can you please do a behind-the-scenes of when you create a physics paper? It would be really interesting to see your thought processes when designing questions and see you design them from scratch!

Question about GCSE Physics: In your videos on stellar evolution, it looks like the protostar is larger than the main sequence star. Would this actually be the case? (Just curious!)

Hi Lewis, my teacher says for 6 marker eg explaining differences between theoretical and actual engines, we should bulletpoint answers not write coherent paragraphs. what is your take on this???

I agree - bullet points will help you structure your answer and you’ll still get all the marks if they are correct points with the correct science
