The BEST 48 hours in Switzerland 🇨🇭 (Lindt chocolate factory, spa, cheese fondue, supermarket)
Ойын-сауық
48 Hours in Zurich-
Where we stayed B2 Hotel, this is a little bit out of the city centre, but is just a 7 min walk from the station, so quite easy to get around but not SUPER ideally located, but the spa makes up for it! and the staff were lovely.
Italian restaurant- Don Leone
Chinese restaurant (SO GOOD!!! really recommend) - Lotus Garden
Lindt Chocolate Factory Museum (this was only £12.00 and SO worth it, they have lots of classes which I think would be fun to do)
We went on the cable car to Felsenegg, SO lovely and we just ate at the cheese fondue at the top of the mountain!
Laderach for choc in the city centre
Lindenhoff-great city centre viewpoint
I REALLY wanted to try lucky fish because I have heard great things about the sushi but it was sold out, wouldn't recommend the place we went to though.
I think thats everything! Leave your recommendations in the comments below

Your positivity and excitement for life is so contagious, I always walk away from watching your vlogs with (what feels like) a fresh set of eyes and energy to tackle the world. Never change!!
You know you’ve found a friend for life when they will go half and half with you on meals out 😅😊❤

Pro Tip if you want to visit a really fantastic chocolate factory: Austria Zotter Chocolate in Styria! You get to taste as much chocolate as you like from every single step of the chocolate making process, starting with a raw bean! Believe me, once you are finished with the tour of the factory, you can't eat any more chocolate, as it's a 2hr chocolate eating journey!!!!! unbelievably superb chocolate!

I live a stone's throw from the mountains and ocean (western Canada) and this fully reminded me not to take my environment for granted.
Iam from and live in Switzerland, it's always soooo fun to see people discovering what's just your "normal everyday stuff" i love it!

Grace being so excited at the grocery store make me feel better about being obsessed with the Monoprix when I was in France. Grocery stores are so fun.
I feel like the spontaneous excursion to the mountains was destined as you ended up having an authentic Swiss cheese fondue for lunch with the most stunning scenenery was pure destiny and fulfilling your fondue dream
I love your Will Ferrell's Elf energy - excited about everything including a bag of crushed ice and a toilet table bin. ❤😊 These travel vlogs with Honor are my favorite!
This might sound weird, but I’m so happy after marriage your videos haven’t changed. Mr Grack must be a good ine
There's a great chocolate factory in Strasbourg, France which is a beautiful place to visit at Christmas time, the Black Forest is stunning, and looks like a little storybook at Christmas! You must try the gingerbread if you do go- fantastic! 😍

I love that Grace got married and is still doing girl trips! And love the hair at the end!
What a wonderful trip to a beautiful country…thanks for taking us along with you …..who wouldn’t want to live in the Lindt factory😀😋

@@bethany5559 hi! I may be biased but there are so many beautiful places from north to south of Portugal! However, if I had to choose just a few to visit, I would recomend Lisbon, Sintra, Porto, Coimbra, Aveiro, Guimarães... and if you feel like going away from the big cities, I would recommend the Alentejo region, mainly the Évora and Portalegre districts, or the Beira region, where you can visit Guarda and Castelo Branco! Hit me up if you need more tips :)
Thanks for this Grace, in need of a holiday and felt I was on one vicariously with you for my half hour break ❤
I love Grackle travel videos! They are so fun and inspiring. Made even better with Honor! Yay friendship!
Woah ,how beautiful.Thankyou for sharing your experience with us.I always find myself smiling after watching your videos :) xx
Grace experiencing Lindt factory had me kicking my feet 😁 Pure Bliss 🤪✨
I lived and worked in Zurich for a year and I also found it really safe clean and quiet! Loved this video - you and honor are the best!
I loved seeing you visit my city and enjoy my favorite things! I'd love to show you around if you ever make it back to Switzerland, there are so many other places to visit, especially Lucerne and the "real" mountains, called Alps. There are so many traditional things and good that I think you would appreciate and love. Thank you for this Positive Vlog, I enjoyed seeing my city from a Tourist's point of view that is my age and enjoys the same thing. All the best ❤ Greetings from Zurich! 🫕🍫
Hi Grace, wow I usually never comment but I literally live on that street you showed 😂 Why does this feel like such a full circle moment?! I gotta go tell my friend this asap
I know what you mean about the smell of chocolate in the air. The biggest Nutella factory in Europe (in the world maybe?) is next to the city where I'm from in France. When I visit my grand parents I often can smell the chocolate from their place, it's really weird.
So happy for you both when you were so excited at the lake 🥹❤️
Switzerland looks like a fab time. I'm jealous of the Lindt store visit. You two are most definitly a fun vibe.
Grace, this was an awesome video. Spending time with a friend, going on an adventure and bringing us along. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work.
I’m from Germany and was an Au-pair near london in 2019/2020 so I’ve always enjoyed watching some london/english content from you. But my aunt lives close to Zurich with my little cousins and I usually visit them a few times a year, especially to go swimming in the lake in the summer😍 and just two months ago we went swimming in Kilchberg (actually the pool you passed by) and parked at the Lindt factory lol so its like insane seeing you there🤩😂such a nice vlog and very happy to see you enjoyed Zürich, its just lovely there!! Xx
Your quick trip was amazing. Spa and chocolate..is the best combination!
It sounds so cute when you say "Mr Grack" Adorable!!!
Yes!! To grocery store sightseeing and winter holidays!
Loved sharing all your excitedness
You would really like Lake Tahoe during winter Beautiful snow mountains!! Graeat chocolate factory😊
Wonderful to see you and Honor having such a good time. Scenery was stunning! Honor is such a good pal to travel with: "Thank you, Jesus"! Very appreciative of life and opportunities, as you are, Grace.
Brilliant, this is true Grace! Loved it! ❤
with how much you enjoyed this trip you should 100% go for a longer time!
How glorious. My kind of mini break!
Hi Grace Fun fact: we were born on the exact same day 24.07.1997 and my dad’s favorite band is U2 too. And i‘m Swiss. Glad to see you enjoyed your trip to Zurich. xx
Awwww I’ve been in Zurich for my exchange semester in Uni and your blog just took me right back. I went on evening walks through your hotel area to the lake ahh miss it so much rn😭😍
I'm so so happy you enjoyed your stay in Switzerland, I hope you'll come back in Lausanne next time! ♥ P.s: it was so funny seeing your put the pickles IN the cheese fondue, I've never seen someone do that hahah looked pretty good tho!

yes, it’s not very traditional to eat hot meals for breakfast in Switzerland. Except for some egg dishes and rösti maybe. But a lot of hotels serve hot options as they adapted to international Standards.

*Grace in the year she got married* “I don’t think I’ve been this happy this year” 😂😂😂
She is RIGHT!!! The "open" shower does make the room appear bigger ... however, what might be nice is the glass "fogging up" at the touch of a button or an inside blind that can be activated. The curtain sort of "cheapens" the luxury nature of the hotel room.
Honour’s hair is on point! xx
Grace! I’ve been following you for ages and your vlogs are my fave, so wholesome! I’m the product manager who makes the advent calendars for Rituals (at the head offices in Amsterdam) so was so exciting to see you checking them out in the store 🥹🥹
I loved the 'that's Austria' lol
I love chocolate tasting in Belgium. Walking around and going into all the small chocolatiers and asking the shop people which is their favorite- omg you'll be floating on a chocolate cloud for days.
That’s it - I want to move to Switzerland 💗💗💗
Haha when you said “coop” my dog thought he was being called and went looking round the house 😂❤
Swiss person here 👋🇨🇭 i wish you could go to the « real » mountains you’ld be amazed!
i lived in swiss for awhile, and the biscuits are the best, the candy is the same as in germany, (i now live in germany). chocolate truly is different in swiss, i guess it really is the water, because it is just better.
if you like those mountains id say the lake district or scotland (closer to home) are amazing too!
Honour is ever so pretty .
Welcome! 💕🥰 so happy you liked it here :)
You should go to the canary islands, mainly tenerife, the mountains are beautiful!
It would be really helpful to know accessibility options at all of these hotels you visit
I love foreign supermarkets ❤❤
Grace if you love the mountain and lakes' scenery you should visit The Lake District. It is stunning at anytime of year but in Autumn more than ever, plus no flight involved.
Thank you much love xx
I can also recommend Zermatt or the Bernese Oberland ;) Thanks for the pleasant video. Greetings from switzerland

Idk why but Honor gives off Emma Watson vibes and I love it 😭

Tip for water in the ear - everytime you get out the shower blowdry your ears. I know it sounds ridiculous but I get chronic ear infections and moisture is a trigger so my GP told me to blowdry inside my ears (on low heat) to evaporate the moisture.
I volontier as a local! 🙋♀️
i feel this exited whenever i visit the uk. you should try different chocolate brands next time.. 😉 and those jelly sweets are actually german not swiss
I thought you meant the horse with no name song 😂 I was like babe that is not u2 😂
it's so weird seeing u where i live, so hmu if u ever do need a local;) hope u visit soon again!
For ears that are filled with water, massage around the base of the ear and gently pull on the lobe, with the affected ear tipped to one side.
I’d take you and honor around Switzerland in a heartbeat 🇨🇭

Water in your ear hack: Tilt your head toward the side you've got water in, and hop up and down on the opposite foot.

I’ve never understood those showers either, they really don’t cater for all guests. It feels like they are custom built for specific individuals. Can you imagine a parent taking their young teenage child away and that’s their shower.
