There is as much chance of Suzuki bringing back their P.E. series as there is of Yamaha bringing back their I.T. series, sadly

@@deborahchesser7375 absloutley all fine trail machines....im a big I.T. fan (and Yamaha in general) but back in the day here in Ireland the only models from the I.T. series that were sold here were the 175,250 and 490...we never got the 125,200,400,425 or 465.
I had a 400PE somewhere in the 80's in South Africa. What a bike that was.
BEST Motorcycle channel. So FIRE💯🔥🔥🍻

Wow, thanks!
I had the 1979. Nowhere as good as these full floater models. A buddy had the 83. Great times.
These 80's bkes really bring me back to my first hours of solo seat time. Sweet video and memories, Ken.
Love the PE's! I used to ride an early 80's PE250 when I was a kid. My friend loaned it to me for a while in upstate New York. It was a blast through trails, corn fields, streams, dirt roads, you name it! Plenty of power and handled great. Well built enduro for sure!
I learnt to ride in the bush with the PE and the TS 185
Had a 1984 pe and got decades of fun memories along with miles and miles of smiles 😊

Ran Optimal two stroke oil no smoke while chugging along trails.
Been waiting for this one. My buddy John and I have been dying to see this one resurrected after we happened to "eye-spy" it when we were up at the museum BS'ing with you and Jr!!! The reason why is because John owned the same exact bike when we were teenagers. We were walking through the museum and couldn't believe it when we bumped right into it. Lol. Never thought we would see another one as long as we lived… But there it was in all its glory!!! Nice job as always Ken!! (and the team) 👍👍👍
That's a blast from the past I had a 175 almost indestructible esey to work on love the old pe
She's mint 🤙
82 pe 175 was my first full size bike. Great bike.
This bike won overall in the national Enduro series in 1982.Jeff Ferdette was the rider....Fun!.
Nice!
I had that exact bike! 👍🏻 Super reliable!
I owned a 1980 PE 400 and loved it. It was a tank with so so brakes rear cable design 🙄 the motor was good for 80mph! Fun times that’s for sure!
I had an ‘81. I had so much fun on it. Great bikes.
My brother bought me a pe 250 in 1985 at 15 had to use a block to get on it lol !! that would not happen in today’s world ! Love the 80s brings back memories of when life was fun 👍
My buddy had one back in the 80s. Great play bike. I had a rm 125. We had alot of fun. Thanks for the flashback. We are the same age so i love your channel.
My first real dirt bike was a 1981 PE175. I bought it near Plainfield, Illinois sometime around 1982 or so. It was a great little trail bike that I had a LOT of fun on back in the day!

Great lookin bike! I had the same one as a kid ended up putting Boysen Reeds in it and it ripped! Great times…
I used to see so many bikes in the back of trucks and riding at various local sand pits and riding areas. Now I only see a few headed to the motocross tack... sad how the liberals have shut down almost every spot in Washington. Great to see you and Junior keeping such a fun time in history alive and well. You can't get much more American than your commitment to what you love and how hard you have worked to get everything you have 🎉

You left out the part of a lot of traditional riding areas have been bought and developed into housing and commercial business developments some of the people didn't help matters with trashing these areas with beer cans and other types of litter etc riding carelessly getting hurt then trying to sue the land owners.

Excellent fun motorcycle Ken. Cheers
Great looking bike 👍🏻 I had a 1980 PE-175 which had a double rear shock then sold it when the 1982 175 full floater came out. I rode the NETRA Turkey Runs from 1980 to 2000. I sold my PE in 1986 when I bought a XR-250
Hello Uncle Kenny, you got a beautiful powerful 2 stroke suzuki bike ..Love it
Always loved this enduros. Kinda the sweeet between a 4 stoke and the moto. For a lot of trails we had by me they were perfect ! Torque n power.
Gorgeous 80’s bike👍
I had the RM100 at the time. Memories.
The PE . havent seen one for a minute. those were some sweet trail bikes . i had a friend back when i was still a school kid .he rode the one he had everywhere Those bikes were built very well
my uncle owned one brand new. i used to ride on the tank when i was 10 11...the full floater was nice to and it ripped in the woods.
The IT we have at home lol nice bike
I am restoring a nice 1982 currently. Easy bike to get parts for.
Great bikes! I have the same bike here in New-Zealand, PE-175Z, Dec 81. I installed a set of Boyesen reeds, re-spoked the rims, new ytres, powder coated the frame, rebuilt the carb. I wired in a lighting loom from a Suzuki TS-125 which has a rectifier for charging the 6V Battery installed. The plastic fuel tanks on the PEs had a bad habit of splitting on the bottom, so I fitted a metal tank from a Suzuki DR-200, with a few mount mods. Looking to get mine road registered soon.
Way to go Kaplan my buddy had one of those brings back good memories I love the channel keep up the good work

I had an 83 PE 175 that I shouldn't have sold and I've been looking for another one since
Question. Is the fender bag in the wrong location? Shouldn't it be on the flat part of the fender behind the seat?
@jaws666
11 ай бұрын
Yes...and not only that but the tail light should be where the fender bag is on this example.....yes its missing the tail light
Does anyone know what the top speed on the 82PE-175Z is?
They just don't make bikes like that anymore... That one will get you anywhere the easy way. Manufacturers can't handle being criticized for making something 'slow' 😜 when taking it easy, is the real win🏁
That pe175 might just put the smoke on Kaps cr500
You could always hear A PE coming from a mile away with that noisy chain tensioner !!! 😅

Put an 80's bike beside a 70's bike and you can see a huge difference. You don't see that now.
I like it when that nice looking blonde records, I just wish she would switch to selfie-vid when shes shooting. Nice bike, too.
Suzuki's answer to the Yamaha IT and Kawasaki KDX series. They're great bikes. The Japanese should re-release these old 2 strokes. Highly unlikely.
Has it sold? I don’t see on eBay listings.

Better times in dirtbiking. Feels like we have gone past the point of no return because we kept quiet in our blue collar lives.Hard to believe no riders got involved in government to stop what has happened. Did the ama ever really help or just make it worse for free family living.
CHiPs brought me here, "Tight Fit"
Used to have that same bike you can upgrade the carb and get so much more power out of it I know you can wheelie the shit out of that thing I wish you would have in this video
you share or sell the graphic file you had printed?
