In this video, Winter Season (2021) view of Bernina Express train's route from St. Moritz to Alp Grüm, captured through 3 CAMERAS after fresh snow, is presented. Enjoy Pristine Swiss Landscapes from Mountains to Glaciers to Lakes and Palms all covered under fresh snow in the Winter season.
In regular summer season, Bernina Express train crosses 196 bridges, the highest railway in the Swiss Alps that climbs up to the 2253m to the glistening Glaciers (Alp Grüm Palü, Morteratsch Glacier and Ospizio Bernina region) before descending to the palms of Italy far below. Due to covid-related restrictions, Bernina Express train's journey has been shortened and it doesn't run until Tirano (Italy).

Very enjoyable trip. My daughter and I rode the Bermina between Tirano Italy and St. Moritz in 2016 with a tour group of the countries in the Alps region. That was in the summer so this was amazing seeing the winter setting. From St. Louis

This is a wonderful part of Switzerland, i prefer during summer, with the cows brought up from the valley, and the edelweiss in bloom, do Not pick the edelweiss, it is illegal!

Our pleasure! Recording time - first week of January. During high winter season, especially January, it remains like this. Mountain regions remain covered even longer until March-May (depends on the altitude).

Awesome video. I am planning to take the Bernina Express next year and you mentioned because of covid the train does not run to Tirano. I checked the link but could not find any info where it stop. Then which station I could make a U turn back to Chur? Thanks

Due to Corona pandemic, the last stop for Bernina Express and other Regional trains are Campocologno (Swiss city). No trains are running till Tirano now.
Da stimmt aber in der Schnittabfolge einiges nicht…erst Morteratsch durchfahren mit Montebello und dann wieder Morteratsch…😅
