Students will not only learn what Aristotle says about the good life but will also explore ways to put this knowledge to work.

"A good is a fine thing to be." Thank you for such beautiful words, Dr. Arnn.
I read books 1-4 3 times, the 4th book for the 4rth time... I though i was a special case not able to grasp concepts. It is the greatest self-help book ever written. Its unfortunate not many people read it, as it would've been easier to grasp concepts through discussion... Word by word, sentence by sentence, paragraph by paragraph and book by book.
I signed up for the free course. Thank you Hillsdale and thank you to the donors who make this possible.
Absolutely agree. After studying aristotle I feel like I've rediscovered what it means to live purposefully, to achieve my entelechy
This Book was great in it's teachings and definitely one of the most straight forward teachings that I've read in philosophy.
Thank you Hillsdale, I got my Nicomachean Ethics certificate. It was amazing and I learned alot of it.
1:19 “If you keep its arguments alive in your soul, and develop your knowledge of those arguments, there’s this tremendous reward that comes to you: you can understand, I argue, better, what you’re supposed to be doing with your life. The greatest self-help book ever written.”
Looking forward to your lessons this is something that I have never in my life thought I would be interested in as a good old-fashioned Southern Alabama Country Boy
I like this guy
Deal. I'll read it. And if you say it's worth it. I'll read it again.

I have listened to the audio book on this but not read it very deep book I had to restore more than once to get to get a little bit of understanding
I was in Barnes and noble and I saw this book and thought “hm, this will be a good read for limited valuable time.” Now I’m hearing from you that I accidentally picked the best book of my life.
Well, the closer I draw to 40, there more sense it makes to me, so Aristotle might have had a point after all.
Ayn Rand agrees!
