The Bender (Scots Pine)
This time Mauro and his Dream Team work on a massive scots pine collected in France. The focus of the work is bending the brances to create a fine design and frame the massive trunk. The work starts creating deadwood from the onld brances that were cutted when the tree was collected. After that all the structure is prepared for the final bending. The result is outstanding!

Very good work. How long stay all that metal?
Amazing tree and final composition! I'm a wood worker and have clamps like you used, but never did I ever think of using them to bend branches! DUH!! What was that black wrap you used under the wire when bending? Electrician's tape? Something else? Thanks!

Absolutely AMAZING... how long does the raffia and tape stay on? I have a Ashe Juniper that I want to do this to.
