Before jumping back into today's SMASH episode, Andrew and Christian look into why so many new Broadway musicals have closed and how Broadway can provide more affordable ways for people who feel priced out.
Episode six provides so much food for thought. First, why does Karen always seem so green and unprepared? It's almost as if she forgets that she's rehearsing for a Broadway musical. Then, Ivy reveals her own bombshell when she tells the entire cast and creative team that she's been sleeping with Derek. And yes, Derek's misogyny escalates as he continues to psychologically manipulate both Ivy and Karen.
