I ride onewheel, love every second of it. But I've considered looking into these for not only the speed, but it looks comfortable, even a little seat there. Are they easy to pick up?

Not as easy to pick up as a onewheel. I pick it up by the trolley handle and have never had a problem but I don’t carry it far. Just up a few stairs

I'm a 68 year OLD man who, up until recently, would have been all over these things. But if the only way you can ride safely is with full helmet, knee and shin and wrist and arm pads, should I be letting myself go there at this point? I mean it, I'm sorely torn between really wanting one and questionning the wisdom of it.

There is a 70 year old man on KZread rocking eucs. Just use all of your gear and try a small playful wheel like the mten4. Eucs are an awesome man-machine mind meld.😁🤙

There are inherent risks when riding EUC as there are with just about anything. As you get more experience on the wheel you can decide what gear matters most to you and your riding style. You should try it and just take it slow! Are there other riders in your area?

Buy an electric scooter, nearly as thrilling and obviously far, far safer. You'd still be wise to wear gear of course :) Go for it man!

@@FreakMeat74 Thanks, really. Have recently worn out 4 scooters over 4 years. My conclusion is that the scooter format, relatively small front and rear wheels, does have an inherent safety issue that can be very dangerous. I am referring to the position of the front wheel/pivot point and the interaction of machine structure and my body weight when forward momentum reacts to a front wheel that fails in any way. Broke 3 ribs on my fourth 'snap' fall. No hot dogging, no speeding, just a flat tire that developed over a mile without turns and a moderate direction adjustment resulting in a very quick rotation into the ground. Over the years I have been places and put my body through some extremes that could and sometimes did hurt a lot. My original comment was reflecting my reality that a 68 year old body just doesn't crash as well as it used to. I desperately want to blast one of these things but I'm just not sure I can justify it any longer knowing how easily I break now. But thanks

@@libertyblack715 Yea scooters do have their issues too lol, sounds like you've had a lot of fun though :) I'm nearly 30 and looking forward to one eventually. Maybe it's time for a high powered E-bike for you? I'll be getting my 67 year old father one very very soon when money permits :)

@@whiskeytalkwithbill1248 I’ve been riding EUC for 6 years. Check out the other videos on my channel. This is my GF riding in this video trying out my wheel. She usually rides a nikola and has never crashed in the 3.5 years that she has been riding. If you set your suspension correctly you don’t need to ride around in a squatted position (especially on a completely smooth bike path like this one on the West Side of Manhattan). I appreciate the input
