I would suggest Mufti Menk Stories of the Prophets Series (peace be upon them all.) I believe that the first video in the series is titled "Stories Of The Prophets-01~Introduction To Stories Of The Prophets." The second is titled "Stories Of The Prophets-02: Creation Of Aadam (as) - Mufti Ismail Menk", and so forth.

Brother, I highly recommend watching the series of the Prophets by Mufti Menk because he tells the stories from the Quran and Hadith which is the only authentic way we know to be accurate. The brother in this video touches on many unimportant information, for example the (Israeliyat) which he talked about at the beginning that we dont confirm it nor we reject it, and to make it easier for you, the Israeliyat is, for example, what kind of tree the Moses stick was from. Or what the type of tree from which God spoke to Moses. Information that is not of great interest and is not reliable and does not benefit us and most of them is not true, so we prefer not to base any information on it. Because this information is not found in the two main sources in Islam. I say this because I want to make sure that everything you listen to is 100% true and that you have no doubts about any of the stories of the prophets.

Idk, but i think this video touched too many subjects that the main subject, the story of Adam AS, was blurred. In my opinion, this type of video may be more suited for intermediate or advanced Islam learning where they are more familiar with the story and with difference of opinions between scholars. I would suggest another series more to the point like the prophets series from Mufti Menk, Merciful Servant or The Prophets Path. But if you're okay with this type of video, then carry on. May Allah guide you in your journey. Cheers.

I left a bunch of suggestions for videos you could watch, on your video [ Mind Blowing Prophecies of Muhammad ﷺ... ] please watch them we can learn about some of the people around the prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and what they were like, and it makes us think, if they tried so hard to enter paradise, and they were among the best sacrificing so much for the religion, then what about us do we try as hard as them do we sacrifice as much as them, and our answer is mostly no, but we still have a chance to enter paradise, so we must strive and work to be better.

Yes, God definitely doesn't rest, and He never wrestled Jacob(as). There are a few blasphemies in the old and new testaments, at least from the Muslim perspective, they are. God's majesty can never be fully realized by humans, He's beyond our little minds. And we only know Allah(swt) by His perfect attributes.

Absolutely my brother, the tablet, sometimes named in coran "primordial writing" contains everything ! About all thing !! You, me, us, the earth, the moon, the sun, the universe, angels, his numbers, number of human that will exist from adam until the end times ... everything. Allah knows all thing, even a leaf falling from a tree, is inscribed in primordial scripture. The tablet is not a stone like stone in earth, we don't know how is he or how tall is, it's a tablet which is in other world, in ghayb world, nobody knows how. But the important is that everything was sripted on it.

just a small note, the narrator in the video that is watched, there are a few small errors but nothing serious, no worries. But still I wanted to say it, but it's not serious errors. I am in France from Tunisia, I recommend "authentic story of the prophets" from adam to jesus, made by a great scholar called Ibn Kathir. I don't know if it exists in English, but little by little inchalla, Islamic literature in English will develop well. May Allah facilitate you in your path and welcome brother Americans in Islam, the original religion of all men, which consists in worshiping a single god without associates. Because we will all be resurrected.

Dear brother, May God rewards you for your efforts. Just to make some correction to the narrator of this video regarding the six days. Day means a period of time which the Quran did not specify how long it is for the creation. The verse that mentions one days is a 1000 years was regarding the time the command transfers from heaven to earth. Anther verse mentioned a day that is 10,000 years which was concerned with the speed the soul descends to space. Both those verses were not in reference to creation. So, when Allah mentioned 6 days it means six stages (of period of time that was not defined in the verse.)

When Adam’s soul joined with his body, he sneezed, then said, ‘al-hamdulillah." Thus, the first words Adam uttered were in praising and thanking Allah.Adam stayed in Paradise for a period of time. During that period Allah created Hawwa’ (Eve), Adam’s wife. She was tall, suitable for the height of Adam who was sixty cubits tall and seven cubits broad. Hawwa’ (Eve) was created from one of Adam’sribs. Ibnu ^Abbas said that Allah created Hawwa’ (Eve) from the shortest rib on Adam’s left side. Adam and Hawwa’ (Eve) lived together in Paradise for a period of time. Allah permitted them to eat from all the fruits of Paradise, except the fruits of one particular tree. Allah enabled them to go from one place to another in the apparent locations of Paradise to eat from the fruits and to benefit from these locations. Adam and Hawwa’ (Eve) were not given permission to eat from that tree but Iblis whispered to them to eat from it. Then Hawwa’ (Eve) started encouraging Adam to eat from that tree. Eventually they both ate from it. Doing so was sinful, however it was a small sin and they both quickly repented. What they said is mentioned in Surat al-A^raf, Ayah 23: Image Surat al-A^raf, Ayah 23 which means: [O Allah, we did injustice to ourselves. So if You do not forgive us and You do not have mercy on us, we would be losers.] They repented and Allah accepted their repentance. After this incident, Adam, Hawwa’ (Eve), and Iblis were ordered to leave Paradise. Adam descended from Paradise into India, in a land called Sarandib (Syri Lanka, now-a-days). Hawwa’ (Eve) descended in a location different from Adam. Iblis, descended into an area in present-day Iraq, now a town named al-Ubullah (next to al-Basrah. Later, Adam and Hawwa’ (Eve) were reunited. After Adam descended from Paradise, where he had lived for 130 years, he received the revelation of prophethood from Allah.Adam, the first man, became the first prophet and the first Messenger to whom Allah revealed. Prophet Adam and his wife had many children. Hawwa’ (Eve) gave birth to forty sets of twins. Each womb held a son and a daughter. Their children married and had children, who married and had children, and so on until the humans were spread in the different areas. Adam is the ancestor of all the human beings--without any exception. The lineage of all humans goes back to Adam and Hawwa’ (Eve), even Gog and Magog (Ya’juj and Ma’juj). Prophet Adam taught his children and their children about Islam. Adam lived for many years. He didn’t die until he saw 40,000 of his descendents--and all of them were Muslim. Prophet Adam and Hawwa’ (Eve) loved and worshipped Allah. They used to pray, fast, and go to Hajj (pilgrimage).). Prophet Adam taught his offspring about the attributes which befit Allah and the difference between the Creator and the creations. He taught good behavior, truthfulness, trustworthiness, and sincerity. Allah bestowed many knowledges on Prophet Adam. Allah created in Adam the knowledge of the languages--without having to study them. He spoke eloquently and without having to use signs. Allah created in Adam the knowledge of the matters of earning a living--including how to plant wheat, how to make clothes, and how to make money from gold and silver. Allah created in Adam the knowledge of how to make instruments for planting, like the shovel and sickle, and the knowledge of how to plant seeds, vegetables, and fruits as well as how to harvest. Prophet Adam knew how to build and construct homes and houses and he used to make ceilings and doors for them. Prophet Adam was the first to build the Ka^bah. During his time, the Aqsa Mosque was built in Palestine. Important warnings: Beware of those who claim matters contrary to the truth of Islam. Adam was not the first creation, and all human beings originate from him. Moreover, Prophet Muhammad descended from Prophet Adam. Prophet Muhammad was not the first creation, as some people claim. Also, beware of those who claim the first creation is the light of our Prophet. This is also invalid. There is no sahih hadith from the Prophet claiming such. There is, however, a fabricated hadith that the Prophet addressed Jabir by saying: "The first creation is the light of your Prophet, O Jabir." The hafidh, Ahmad al-Ghumariyy, mentioned this hadith was fabricated in his book entitled, Al-Mughir ^Ala-l-Jami^ is-Saghir and the hafidh, as-Suyutiyy, said this hadith is not confirmed. He mentioned it in two (2) of his books: Al-Fatawa and The Explanation of at-Tirmidhiyy. What was confirmed from the Prophet was that the first creation was the original water, which exists now underneath the ^Arsh. Beware of theories which say human beings descended from apes or that Adam was a primitive caveman. Adam was the first man and the first human to receive the Revelation of prophethood. He was the first messenger of Allah and he is the ancestor of every member of the humankind. He taught the first people how to live and how to worship Allah correctly. He was an honored and blessed creation of Allah. He was created from soil. In Surat al-Hajj Ayah 5, Allah said: {يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إن كُنتُمْ فى رَيْبٍ مّـِنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإنَّـا خَلَقْنَاكُم مّـِن تُرَابٍ } سورة الحج - آية 5 which means: [O you people, if you doubt about the matter of the Resurrection, then think about the matter that Adam was created from soil.] That is, should one have difficulty conceptualizing that a person can be resurrected--considering this matter is unlikely, a weak possibility, or one that does not occur--then remember that Allah created Adam from soil. Know that the One Who created Adam from soil has the Power to resurrect you after you turn back into soil. This is the truth about Prophet Adam.

PRE-DESTINATION IN ISLAM There is NO FREE WILL IN ISLAM and ALL MUSLIM have been PRE DESTINED NO MATTER HOW MANY PRAYERS YOU DO, NO MATTER HOW MANY RAMADDAN FAST YOU DO, NO MATTER HOW MUCH ZAKAT YOU DO, NO MATTER HOW MANY GOOD DEEDS YOU DO. This is the PROOF FROM YOUR OWN ISLAMIC BOOKS: About Sins and Destiny in Islam. -A'isha, the mother of the believers, said that Allah's Messenger was called to lead the funeral prayer of a child of the Ansar. I said: Allah's Messenger, there is happiness for this child who is a bird from the birds of Paradise for it committed no sin nor has he reached the age when one can commit sin. He said: 'A'isha, it may be otherwise, because God created for Paradise those who are fit for it while they were yet in their father's loins and created for Hell those who are to go to Hell. He created them for Hell while they were yet in their father's loins. Reference : Sahih Muslim 2662 book reference : Book 46, Hadith 47USC-MSA web reference : Hadith 6436 -sunnah.com/muslim/46/47 ‘Amir reported the Messenger of Allah as saying : The woman who buries alive her new-born girl and the girl who is buried alive both will go to Hell. This tradition has also been transmitted by Ibn Mas’ud from the Prophet to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. Grade: Sahih (Al-Albani) صحيح (الألباني)حكم : Reference : Sunan Abi Dawud 4717In-book reference : Book 42, Hadith 122 Book 41, Hadith 4699 - sunnah.com/muslim/50/13 It was narrated that 'Amr bin Dinar heard Tawus say: "I heard Abu Hurairah narrating that the Prophet said: 'Adam and Musa debated, and Musa said to him: "O Adam, you are our father but have deprived us and caused us to be expelled from Paradise because of your sin." Adam replied to him: "O Musa, Allah chose you to speak with, and he wrote the Tawrat for you with His own Hand. Are you blaming me for something which Allah decreed for me forty years before He created me?" Thus Adam won the argument with Musa, thus Adam won the argument with Musa.'" Yes I understand what you said about ‘image’ you should look into the 99 names of Allah how we should reflect on his qualities and act upon them. Example God is merciful we should also have mercy on mankind.

Allah is the Creator of This World Allah, ta^ala, said in the Qur’an: { أَفِي اللّهِ شَكٌّ }سورة إبراهيم 10 Afi-llahi shakk. Ayah 10 of Surah Ibrahim means: {There is no doubt about the existence of Allah.} The first obligation on the mukallaf person is to know about Allah, ta^ala. Allah is the Creator of all the existent things and is the One Who manages all the creation. If, with our sound mind, we carefully think about all the creations and ponder about their existence, we must know that they have a Creator Who created them. The mental proof that Allah exists: With the sound mind, we know irrefutably that every writing has to have a writer, the act of hitting has to have a hitter, and that a building has to have a builder. Therefore, it follows that this universe with all the creations in it has to have a creator Who is Alive, attributed with Will, Knowledge, and Power, and this is Allah. He is clear of all imperfections. He is the One Who does not resemble any of His creations, and nothing resembles Him. The sound mind does not accept the existence of an action without someone who carried it out. It is not conceivable for nature to be the Creator, because nature has no will. So, how would nature create? It is also not permissible for something to create itself. Finally, something cannot create something that resembles it. For example, the child is born small; he does not talk or walk. Then he develops. He starts gradually and slowly to talk and walk. Then he matures and becomes a young man, then middle-aged, then old, after which he dies. Who changed him and transformed him from one state to another? Allah is the One Who created and changed him, and willed for him to die. A story of a man who denied the existence of Allah: It is related that a man who denied the existence of the Creator came once to one of the caliphs and told him: "The scholars of your time say that there is a creator for this universe, and I am prepared to prove to them that this universe has no creator." The caliph sent for one of the top scholars telling him of the man's claim and ordering him to come. The scholar was purposely late; then he came. The caliph welcomed him and seated him in the center of the session. Present at this meeting were many scholars and important people. So the man said: "Why were you late in your arrival?" The scholar said: "What if I tell you that a very strange matter occurred to me, and because of it I was late? My house is behind the river of Dijlah (Tigris). I came to cross the river, but I did not find anything other than an old boat with broken planks. When my gaze fell onto it, the planks moved, came together, and reassembled so that the boat became seaworthy. All this happened without the work of a carpenter or a worker. I sat in it, crossed the river, and came to this place.” The man said: "O people, listen to what your scholar says. Have you heard anything more absurd than this? How can a boat exist without a carpenter to build it? This is an explicit lie." The scholar said: "O blasphemer, if the mind does not accept the existence of a boat without a builder or carpenter, then how do you say that this entire universe exists without a creator?" The man became silent. He was refuted. The caliph punished him because of his bad beliefs.

I haven't heard Hasan Ali's narration of the prophet's story before and as a Muslim, it's very interesting to hear the differences of opinion. But as a non Muslim, the use Islamic words etc and the sharing of different scholarly opinion might take away from you getting the overall stories of the prophet's to compare with what you already know. Therefore, some the other series people have suggested like mufti menks, might be better suited for you at this stage of your learning journey. All the best.

Actually The hadith says He reported God’s Messenger as saying, “When any of you fights he must avoid the face, for God created Adam in His own image.” (Bukhari and Muslim.) Anoother hadith says Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah created Adam, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his height was 60 spans. He said, 'Go and greet those (a group of angels who were sitting down) and listen to how they answer you. It is your greeting and the greeting of your descendants.' He said, 'Peace be upon you,' and they replied, 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.' They added, 'and the mercy of Allah'. All who enter the Garden will have his form, but creation has continued to decline until now.'" So when you say allah created adam on his image it means on adams image as a man he was never a baby befor he was a grown up man from the begining of his creation And even if someone would take the similarity between allah and his creation we would say he has granted his creation a glimps of his attributes like mercy and forgivness and wisdome ... Or even when we read in the Quran for example allah saying that he has hands or a face or a throne ... it would never be possible to compare what ALLAH has blessed us with to what he has or what he is subhana Allah taala

brother - Dr. Zakir Naik has explained the Quran's position on the 6 number mentioned. Zakir Naik said it is 6 epochs. This is unprecedented amount of time as this is God years or phases. So the brother in the video which said 6000 years to create unfortunately is incorrect. May God forgive me/him for any mistakes I have made. Regards, Bilal Zahid

He forgot to mention that there is a difference in the interpretations of this verse. he took the verse 'a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count' .The interpreters who knows the verse in Arabic of course differed on the nature of that day. Is it a day from the days of the creation of the heavens and the earth , a day from the Hereafter, or is it simply to illustrate to them that the length of Allah's day is different from their days since they hastened the Messenger of Allah regarding the punishment in the same verse? Therefore, there is no concrete evidence that the days of the creation of the heavens are equivalent to 6,000 years, especially since the word 'Yawm" in Arabic does not necessarily mean a literal day in English; it can also refer to stages or periods then Its value remains unknown if its 1000 years or 50000 years or more. Allah knows best.
