There is no vocalist on earth that can turn your heart in knots the way Robin's voice does. It's always been hauntingly beautiful.
Robin gives me goose bumps when his solo starts. Beautiful song.
Robin's voice always evoked emotion. That's why their early songs were so successful. Plus they're awesome song writers.
I never, never, never, ever, ever thought I'd get to see a reaction to this song. I'm so happy. I love this song and I thought everyone forgot it existed. ❤️ Great reaction. Robin was a powerhouse.

Andy lived in a house on the same grounds as Robin's for the last year of his life while he was recording a new album in London. So many people look down at "POP" music but as you can see this is a very deep and moving song. I am so glad you are getting to experience what millions of fans of the Bee Gees knew all along
I Love Robbin's voice!
Regarding the story behind this song; I heard on an interview with Barry, I believe, that the song WAS about Andy, but it was about his failed relationship with an actress named Victoria Principal. They were very much in love, but Andy was so caught up in his drug addiction, he was not able to kick it, even for her. She couldn't go on with it, for obvious reasons, and they split. The song is about the pain he felt in not being able to win her back. It IS one of their most beautiful songs. I know you have a jillion requests for their music, but the one called "Massachusetts" is an older song where Robin has the lead for the entire song. It's beautiful, also. WONDERFUL reaction.

Its their harmonies that make BGs best group of all time. And that song is pure magic because of the inputs of all of them. I been listening to this song constantly since saturday and its the effect of Robin’s voice. He sang it with such feeling
I heard a music critic say of this song that Barry starts it up, then Robin sends it soaring. That seems spot on to me. This song played on the radio a lot after Maurice's death, so I still equate it with that event. Especially when Robin comes in with that extraordinary chorus, "And I'm missing you more Than the fire that will roar There's a hole in my soul. For you it's goodbye, For me it's to cry. Those words just seem to be written for Robin and Maurice.

I can listen to Robin Gibb all day long. My all time favorite singer.
We are very lucky to have had The Bee Gees. Robin was in a very bad train crash in his late teens, he helped with the injured. Many people were killed. Then there’s Barry who pulled a boiling teakettle on himself as a toddler. He spent a long time in the hospital. His chest was burned the worst. He has significant burn scars there. Then of course, there’s Andy. While he wasn’t a Bee Gee, his death certainly effected them all. I think Maurice escaped tragedy while young, but he was the first one in the group to pass on.
The UK's gift to the world. Legends.
Love love love Robin's voice, you should try saved by the bell a song robin recorded after he left the group really beautiful song
Another great song is Wedding Day. Robin's vocals are amazing in this one too ❤
I also love when Robin and Barry share lines. They are so perfect at it. Plus, the fact that they are siblings gives then that edge. Okay, signing off as I will just repeat myself ❤️
In a " Heart like mine " by the Bee gees, Robin's opening vocals are simply of the charts.. Treat your ears to something special
When you run out of BeeGee songs (years from now... ha) You should listen to all the songs they wrote and were sung by others. Heartbreaker by Dionne Warwick...ect. You could even listen to the symphony Robin wrote with his son before he died. The talent these men had is truly something that comes along once in a very long while.
Loved the Bee Gees. Lots of breakups and makeups whilst listening to their music and crying rivers. They were just the best.
You should check out their Medley from the Melbourne concert in 1989.. mind blowing!!
