"If God offered to shorten my life to lengthen Scorsese's- I'd take the deal. This man understands Cinema. Defends Cinema. Embodies Cinema. He has always fought for the art of it and against the industry of it. He has never been tamed and has a firm place in history." Guillermo Del Toro.
It's crazy to see how much variety Scorsese has in his career: Gangster films, thrillers, sport flicks, neo-noir, autobiographies, historical dramas... the list is endless.

I love scorsese, ive seen all of his movies. This was probably one of the harder videos to make, being there are 35 movies, all having their fair share of beautiful shots. You did an amazing job. Thank you.

I honestly feel that his non-gangster/wall street films are under-estimated. Quite honestly, Age of Innocence is a gorgeous film.
Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, After Hours, GoodFellas, Casino, Bringing Out The Dead, The Departed, The Irishman: legendary masterpieces
“The most personal is the most creative” Martin Scorsese
He shoot some of my favourite movies ever, like Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, The Departed and many many others. He inspired the tv show I love the most (The Sopranos). He truly is a giant, we are so lucky to have his works
Robert Richardson's work on _Bringing Out the Dead_ looks so ethereal.
There's something incredibly unique about mixing video and music. Perfect homage for the goat.

You couldn’t have picked a better time to release this one. Scorsese had diverse filmography that’s almost larger than life and you expertly edited a great tribute! I hole Guillermo Del Toro sees this and is very happy.
Scorsese gave me a new perspective on cinema and for that, I am immensely thankful. I look forward to seeing Killers of the Flower Moon.

did you like it?
I kinda wish I had seen more shots from "Silence" in here 😐 That being said, the dude's got an amazing filmography!
I’m glad you did the Beauty of Martin Scorsese, he’s one of the greatest directors of all time, and now you should do the Beauty of Troy, Vikings, Mad Men, Braveheart, Spartacus (1960), The Princess Bride, The Adventures Of Robin Hood, Saving Private Ryan, Band Of Brothers, The Pacific, Rome, and The Tudors
What you don't realise about Scorsese until you watch him and understand his style, is that he's an artist more than he is a director. He paints his characters instead of writing them and he only shows the finished artwork as fleeting glimpses throughout the film's run, in the moments where writing is not enough to convey his image. I think this is one of the reasons he works with a few actors above all, because they share his vision and he trusts their ability to articulate it.

«When you grew up in Little Italy, what to become but a gangster or a priest? Now, I wasn't can be neither the one nor the other» Martin Scorsese More than 20 films in five minutes with the incomparable musical accompaniment of Gimme Shelter. A unique omage for a unique Director!
Happy birthday MARTY!!!!
Love Scorsese one of my favourite directors of all time and goodfellas is not just my favourite movie from him but my favourite movie of all time
Martin Scorsese is a great director and a great author when he makes great films, he made masterpieces, he earned everyone's recognition, and at 78 years old. And have a great love of cinema like no one else. His masterpieces are Taxi driver, Mean Streets, Raging Bull, GoodFellas, Casino, The Departed (which won the best director), The wolf of wall street, and The Irishman, among others... (and both Robert Del Diro and Leonardo Dicaprio are his best actors forever, and also from his eternal collaboration with Telma Schoonmaker as his favorite editor) (If I had to say which one has better cinematography, it would be both: Taxi driver, GoodFellas, Kundun, The Aviator, Shutter Island, Hugo (the one that won thanks to Richardson), The Irishman, but the best is Silence, by Rodrigo Prieto) Now I look forward to how Scorsese will fare in Killers of the flower moon, he will work with Del Niro, DiCaprio, Fraser, and Rodrigo Prieto as the cinematographer. Very good video and perfect song (Gimme shelter by The Rolling stones)
Watched Bringing Out the Dead for the first time the other day. I can’t believe how good/underrated it is.

Silence is the most underrated movie of Scorsese
Magnificent, Rolling Stones and Martin Scorcese perfect match.
Been waiting on this for a long time! Awesome work!
I remember requesting this for a long time and am so happy you did it. I know it wasn’t easy due to his time in the business, but cheers to you.
Fantastic selection of clips, expertly edited, great song choice. Love it!
beauty of sons of anarchy please 🙏
i must say your skills of capturing the essence of film throughout the years is astonishing
You never fail to surpass yourself. Another great homage. This montage could have been 3 times longer and still been great.
What an incredible video. Truly one of the greatest.
Almost with half of a million subscribers!! It's a beautiful thing to watch this channel grow🎉🎉
some of the best content on the internet, thank you
Probably The Best director out there! My favourite films are: Goodfellas Silence (Underrated Scorsese movie Imo) Taxi Driver & The Departed
You did an impressive job of editing and every shot is amazing. There are some shots I never noticed and your video did it beautifully. There's only one Scorsese and his craft is beyond words.
This is amazing, please keep up the content dude!
Watching this was an experience in itself Thank you for this
Beautiful Video. Scorsese is easily my favorite director and you have done him justice. Amazing video.
Amazing timing, I've just completed his feature filmography this week! My last one was Bringing Out The Dead - I love that it's prominently featured in this video. You can't really go wrong with Marty. I can't wait for Killers Of The Flower Moon. I hear the book is brilliant. There are different sources about it, but I heard it's not completely impossible we'll get it this year.
One of the greatest directors of all time♥️
Surprised to not see the Deniro entrance tracking shot from Mean Streets on here
This video is an amazing tribute to Scorsese! I loved each minute! 💖
Excellent work. A great tribute to the man. And I love the song choice. I just wished there's more footage of _Silence_ here. The montage starting at 4:17 got me electrified.
This has got to be the greatest channel on KZread
excellent choice for thumbnail Scorsese's explanation about that scene is brilliant
even this edit is intoxicating.
The Beauty Of Nightcrawler next?? I would love it
This is such an amazing tribute to one of the legendary filmmakers in history and also a great work. There's nothing a better way to start your day watching this made me feel good and back to watching classic films. Thanks a lot.
The video begins with a series of close-up shots and ends with a series of wide and cowboy shots. Phenomenal editting
Excellent !
Bringing out the dead is so underrated
Awesome work!
Scorsese is one of the great icons of cinema but also a champion of film as an art form. What a stunning array of shots from a master of the craft.
This channel doesn't get tired of having the best videos on KZread. Second of the channel that perfectly fits Rolling Stones with the third best director.
phenomenal
Beautifully crafted…
Damn you nailed this!
i knew before i clicked the video the song would be Gimme Shelter.
The compilation we've all been waiting for! Thank you for this!! However, you didn't include the Robert DeNiro epic stare scene from Goodfellas...?
Scorsese is just brilliant. Your video put his genius mind in a nutshell.
Scorsese + gimme shelter = MASTERPIECE
I was like… I wonder what song he used. Yep it’s the one I had in mind !!
Your videos and editing everything to blend in IS MAGIC!
One of my favorite directors
RIP Ray.
All the characters in this video are literaly me!! Mr Scorsese is a genius and i have all of his movies in my heart ❤️

I just discovered this channel but its all so freakin good. You should really make one for House of the Dragon
At some point, you gotta do a video on the danish film "A Fortunate Man", the cinematography is just beautiful.
Suggestions: the beauty of house of the dragon, the beauty of Dario argento, the beauty of the haunting of bly manor
This is addictive..😭
Martin was my favorite director for many many years. He’s still sitting at number two and only trumped by Paul Thomas Anderson, but his creations and camera work are all immaculate. The thing about him that I feel only sets him a little below Anderson but slightly above the rest is his bombastic realism. It’s real emotion with a slightly heightened gritty landscape.
