In the final year of my film studies, I began an ambitious documentary about a man and his ideas. This man agreed to an unpaid collaboration, emphasizing that he was more interested in my success than in personal recognition. Despite achieving a good result for my exam, the documentary was not yet finished for him, so I continued refining it for another three months, creating original music and sound effects. This documentary could have never looked this good without the eye of the cinematographer.
After six months of intensive work aimed at clearly portraying his ideas, the collaboration with this man became increasingly strained as he started demanding more throughout the process.
In consultation with St. Lucas, the collaboration was then unilaterally terminated.
The man with whom I started the project subsequently did not give me permission to release my exam project. Therefore, I decided to write a foreword and an afterword and blur his face.
This documentary, my exam project, represents my hard work and creativity.
