Hear hear. It is sort of such a quiet classic. I mean of course it’s a Beatles song and therefore a massive successful and well known song but, compared to Sgt. Pepper, Yesterday, name a hundred others, this one isn’t oft put at the forefront of those other awesome tunes but, it’s definitely worthy of some special mention and I too, absolutely love this one. It’s somber but, has a way to make you feel your feet move. There’s more to it than I can give in my poor description. I just love it.

Dubbed together different takes while keeping up with the music and lip movements was a tough task back then and nearly impossible to get perfect at that time. Still doesn't change my opinion on how great this song is.

McCartney He kind of is the most left out of the four. He was last to join when the rest joined in the late 50’s. The three wrote their own songs, while Ringo only write or co-wrote like 5 songs. The other three sang more, while Ringo usually only sang one song per album, sometimes he didn’t even sing on an album. (Let It be, hard day’s night, Magical Mystery Tour, etc.) overall, he was the least talented of the four.

I love the sense of fun they had in those early years. Cheekiness and laughter just oozing out of them all the time. It's so charming.

There was no question that John was the leader of the Beatles. Look at the way that Paul keeps glancing over at him for guidance/direction. Paul did that frequently on stage and during the Ed Sullivan appearances. John was the tough guy of the group and frequently got in fights with hooligans during the Beatles' early years in Germany along with original bassist and Lennon friend, Stu Sutcliffe. RIP Stu!

Yeah it's apparent that the whole band was so happy and had so much chemistry before Faul took over after the accident. You never see looks like that after, they all hated Faul and who could blame them.

I agree. Shame that John and Paul seemed to lose their signature voices after 1966. They don't even sound like the same group after 1966, it's not the change in music styles it literally sounds like different people singing.

They also tended to do less harmony driven songs after Revolver, with the majority of the songs being sung by one member or the other, with the rest of the band as backing singers. Two songs where they did share harmonies again were:- Because Two Of Us One After 909 (which was an old 1963 number)

Those labels are misleading. All four had those traits, to varying degrees, just may not have been very apparent. E.g., George could be cynical, John could be romantic, etc. Never cared for the labeling. Although, I understand it.
