I bought the cassette too as a nostalgic souvenir. Now And Then is #1 here in UK as well as in Germany & Austria. The new Red & Blue CDs are set to be #2 & #1 in UK. It’s like a 2023 outbreak of Beatlemania!

Got mine yesterday, and it sounds soooooo good in warm analog. I'm a big cassette guy who still has most of mine from my youth, and love that this is now a part of said collection.

Thanks for sharing what the cassette looks like. I did order it and it arrived days ago, but I’m not going to open it. I’ll keep it sealed as a time capsule for historical reasons. I can listen to the music on my new Red and Blue CD sets. I have a 1995 component cassette player/recorder that still works like new. I might record the songs to a blank cassette to hear them in analog. It’s not easy to look at the sealed cassette and not open it. Thanks again for the view inside the case and the j-card. Thanks Jackie, they haven’t released Now And Then to purchase in the shops here in Australia yet, I’m waiting on them doing it so I can get a copy, and your remarks abut not being alive when free as a bird and real love was released is a bit of a shock to my system as it really doesn’t feel like it was that long ago that they came out and they still feel new and fresh to me every time I put them on, thanks again,sweet heart, hugs.

I went for the CD single, couldn't find any in the stores here in the UK, all sold out, ha, but got it from an online seller. The cassette looks cool tho.

I used to love buying singles in the 90s. It was a great to way to try out new bands and they were cheap as well usually 2 or 3 quid. I mostly bought them on cd, but occasionally on cassette for 99p! I think my brother bought the Free as a Bird cassette single. Although anyone who was actually buying cassette singles in the 90s will notice something a little strange about Now and Then/Love Me Do...

I was 18 when "free as a bird" and "real love" were released.

My parents gifted me the blue album one christmas. I think it was either in '87 or '88. I played the hell out of that tape. Eventually it broke. 😢 All the songs were only on one cassette, front and back of course.

I bought the Red and Blue albums on CD, and love them. I also bought the Now And Then CD single. I'm thinking of framing the CD single so it will look like a piece of art. I've seen pics of the CD single framed and it looks pretty cool!

Hello Jackie ! Always a pleasure to see you and your videos. I realize we have a lot in common, beside being such amazing Beatles fans. I to love CD's and only listen to vinyl on occasion. I also have that player that I use sometimes when I record off vinyl to cd. You have become one of my favorite KZreadrs and I don't have that many to claim as favorites. Take good care ! Oh I did find a Target store that had the red exclusive vinyl and I am leaving it sealed. I downloaded the two songs so I have them anyway. I had gotten a Beatles Greatest Hits cassette for Christmas and love the stereo. Sadly i have to make myself not use it from time to time as i dont want the wonderful stereo and noise to wear out 😭

I wonder why they didn't put The Beatles name on the spine of the cassette...i like to sort all my cassettes alphabetically by artists name.

They wanted to emphasize the idea that it is only a song, not an album, but yes, it would be better with the name of the band.

why have the cd not a inlay?

I’m surprised you didn’t buy the cd. The tape is more of a niche plus the sound quality of tape 🤮. That being said it is a cool item to have. A collectible for sure.

Interesting, but I would buy either the vinyl or the CD because cassttes wear out and break easily.
