This song was released in December 1965 when I was 8 years old. I started appreciating people singing a few verses when I first met them. In French classes 7th-9th grade it was always one of the songs our class had to sing...(That song and Oh Lady Mary). My Dad tried to sing it and bless his heart he just couldn't get the French words right at all... I hope your daughter enjoys having a song about her name. 🎵🎶🎵🎶

I wasn't as crazy about The Beatles when they first arrived in America as many of my peers were. A lot of their early stuff was bubble gum, teeny bopper music. After a few years their songs got more sophisticated. This is one song I considered such and one of my favorites.

This tune is exactly my taste in music.

A small correction : "..., sont DES mots qui vont très bien ensemble" -> "are words that go together well" "..., sont LES mots qui vont très bien ensemble" written sere -> should translate "are the words that go together well". There's a slight different meaning
