Fascinating stuff! I totally love The Beatles, but can never afford any mega box sets... The last 'big' collection of theirs that I got was the entire cd and dvd Anthology series, and naturally I have all the cd versions of the original albums. I am also a proud owner of an original mono Sgt Pepper vinyl, a stereo one too!... and some other vinyls.

Thanks for showing this. Being a big Beatles fan, I always like to see this sort of stuff. I've never actually seen this set before, but its really nice. I esp like the mock vinyl albums around the side, a cool little touch.

Thanks Mark ..I bought this one the Lennon box and Dylan as well. Wished they had continued. A McCartney Box of Vision would have been swell!! Oh well maybe someone will pick this business up and go on from where they left off!!

I was lucky enough to pick this up for a good price when it was getting liquidated from some site and yeah, yeah, yeah the books are fantastic and the big selling point for this set. I'm pretty sure the company that produced this had a deal set up with a retail store where the set was actually sold with all the 2009 remasters included. Less then a year ago I stopped in at one of my local record stores and they had one of these on their used shelf so I picked it up for a little over a hundred bucks. Always nice to find surprises like that.

I got this when it was released. I eventually dumped the CD books and I put my original UK LP mono pressings in it instead.

Know this is older post..I found you thru Mr Mayo..anyway I sold my box of vision for Beatles and Lennon..but kept all the books. I wish they would release the books separately. Still have my Dylan box no one wants it..but love the books.

I'm not actually using it for it's intended purpose of housing my CDs. But I do like the idea and like I mentioned in the video, the two books are what I like the most from this item. If you would be able to find one for cheap somewhere it would be worth it just for those.

I purchased this in 2009, when it was first released. It's an autographed version, signed by the author and designer. I haven't opened it yet, as it's still in the original shipping box. One day, I plan to insert a second set of the Beatles CD's that I purchased just for this book. Just as another fan wrote, it looks like it will be cumbersome and heavy. I've procrastinated long enough though, I guess. :)

I wish they'd release the hardcover on its own (ideally with behind the scenes material and _without_ the "Oldies" page. Kind of a bummer the white album poster was excluded here - it could have been added as a gatefold page if not a double-page spread.

Never seen this in 2009. Kinda nice.

That book is great. Beatles had awesome, memorable cover designs. Ahead of its time for what was being produced at that then. Evident on some of those Capitol album covers.

Yes, I really like those books. If someone has only ever had the CD versions of these albums they can be hard to read and enjoy. But with these full LP sized images it makes it much more enjoyable to read and appreciate the artwork of the albums.

Bruce Towell Nope, those were the only ones. They must not have sold as well as expected. I wish they would have continued making these for other artists.

Yes it is one that would've hung in a record shop to promote the CD release. I think I found mine in eBay many years ago. Good luck in your search.

Of coarse there was a major release in 2009.It's all about numbers.Example,"Number Nine".

I bought this at the time of release, though sold it soon afterwards on eBay. Too cumbersome to get the Cd’s in and out, nice idea but poor execution. The book was great though, pity that couldn’t be purchased on its own.

It's the same. He was slightly skinny back in the day and only put on weight during the Rubber Soul and Revolver years.

I'm still confused. The box of vision DOESN'T come with the CD albums???

No there are no CDs included with this. It was sold as a storage unit to hold the CDs you purchased separately.

Unfortunately the company went out of business. So they are no longer available. You could check eBay to see if anyone has any available there.

The last book is cool. But the rest I think is worthless

2009 remasters ARE NOT digipaks. These are just paper sleeves. Digipak must have plastic tray for disc.

It is essentially a case to hold all your Beatles CDs. It does not come with any CDs but there are some interesting books included with it.

@@bobf.5538 It is really well made and the books are very well done and worth the money. They actually don't make these anymore so if you're seeing them for sale now that could be why they're expensive.

I don't see why anyone would want to put their CDs in this book. Not only does is look like a recipe for the CDs to get scratched, but it looks a lot uglier than the standard cases.

I'm a Beatles fan since 1963. but I never buy every stupid box they throw out these days. These damn companies just make money on people like us. I do not want to support all those Beatles "souvenirs". I have original Black &Yellow label PARLOPHONE records, all original APPLE records , Including original LET IT BE box (1970) with Get Back book in excellent condition. To buy every "new" issue and every box is just stupid waste of money.
