They weren't ofna. They were always hobao. Ofna were just the distributor for north America. In asia and Europe they were always known as hobao.

Im excited about this release too! Had several hobaos and still own my hyper gtb long wheelbase 1:8 touring car. Makes me hope they update the hyper8sc too. That is probably one of the best rc-cars ever released, but is in need of an update.

People mention this brand for speedrunning, the diffs are apparently the best for it. Never seen them around, looking forward to seeing this in person.

Hobao makes the best diffs period. So chunky teeth and made of top notch material. Arrma diffs are garbage compared to hobao diffs. Check out the vte 2 1:7 scale speed run platform!

I love my HyperTT. Durability is the only thing, I have a 3660 HW 4600kv, and it is a hooligan. So glad they have released a v2.

So fitting for you to have one of these early Jaytee. You've been a Hobao guy for a long time and deserve it, glad they notice that as well.

I wanna try one of these... we have a decent class of mini-truggy here, ET410 and a few of the Xray trucks... I have a VT64 team Velocity converted B64 that I need to get going again...

JayTee! There is a RC god and he’s listened to my prayers!!! Now if they can just do a DHK Maximus 2.0 life will be good 😂 Mine has been sitting for about 3 years needing a new body, wheels and a shock. I’ve always loved my hyper tt and I just looked it up today and commented on Razor RC how awesome it would be if they used this platform for a 12 scale MT since the new Rlarllo 12 scale MT is so popular.

the ESC is a 60 amp hobbywing ESC 👍 . HoBoa is my absolute favourite 8th scale RC company , and my absolute favourite budget friendly 14th scale RC company is LC RACING'S EMB range of RC'S 👌👍 . I'm definitely going to get at least one in each colour of this new version 10th scale Hyper TT RTR though 😁 👌👍 .

I have to have it for the track, and I will be running against the et410.2. I had a almost rtr about 10 years ago. Loved it! I can't wait to get one.

Do you know the stock motor size. Was wondering what hobbywing combo would fit? Im hoping 65 can would fit.

Are you running a 550 size motor when you start doing speed runs

JT I luv my original TT, cant wait to get the TT 2.0. What Anaconda wheels do you have this truck re offset, do you have a part number for the Anaconda wheels. So I dont buy the wrong wheels, as there are a few different options offered by Traxxas on Anaconda's.

I would love to see Losi do a re-vamp mini 8eight T to possibly compete with these smaller 1/10 and below monster trucks. C'mon Losi!!! This truck looks like a great option amongst the recent releases by other manufacturers. I was on the fence about getting the new MJX 1/10 monster truck and now seeing this option, made it a much harder decision. Thank you for sharing this video.

Won't fit! I can tell you that directly without having measurements on mind. Know both cars and the hypertt is much larger

I’ll race you with my Omni terminator, going 4s soon on stock motor and pinion for speed runs, did upgrade all diffs to custom ones and s2 parts….

Do they make an 8th scale version of this? This is the nicest 1/10 scale that ive seen. Built like an 8th scale and worth the $400 for RTR

With the small pinion and anaconda tires the take off is quick. Might not have the top end speed.

Them anacondas kinda suck. They balloon bad. Try the Arrma Dboot Hoons, in gold or silver compound. You'll like em a lot better💯✌️

@JayTeeRC still doesn't stop them from ballooning. Anything faster than 55mph and they just don't cut it. Not even for straight line performance. I mean, if that's what you like, rock em! But I really think it would look and perform a lot better with some belted Hoons or even some SRCs. But the src compounds are all a bit harder than I personally like.

This is not like any Traxxas! Hobao makes quality vehicles. But not saying Traxxas doesn't. Just not this caliber.

I'd like to see if it's possible to convert to a Short Course Truck? For running with the endless pool of Tekno's...
