The Beach Waterpark Abandoned Forever! (Drone Footage)

Ойындар

What's up ya'll! This is actually some older footage from when I was first figuring out how to fly my drone. But I thought it would be cool to have this type of video for The Beach Waterpark considering it's been abandoned and demolished. If you all enjoyed be sure to leave a like and comment down below!!

Worked there it’s last few years. It was scuffed, poorly managed, dirty, and almost run out of business by Kings Island. We never got breaks, we weren’t allowed to call thunder “because it might be the trucks on the highway”, most guards didn’t even bother to show up for work, we were always understaffed and the sun was brutal. It was the worst job I’ve ever had and I would do anything for just one more summer with it-almost all of us guards carry the same sentiment. Rest In Peace you disgusting bastard, I’ll miss you more than anything. 👊😔

I was a supervisor the last summer the beach was open. The closing mostly contributed to Sandra, the alcoholic general manager that enjoyed screaming at minors for no reason. She scared off most of the staff the first few weeks which left the remaining staff to make up for every short coming. There were very few employees who were over the age of 18, but we worked 60+ hours trying to keep the park staffed. It had the potential to be such a fun summer job where I wanted to get supervisor experience. Instead I was screamed at constantly for not being in more than one place at a time and never appreciated. They also told me I would get a $2 raise with my promotion (that happened in the first week I was there) and unfortunately I never saw that pay raise. I ended up leaving right before the season ended but those who stuck around were given $1000 bonus to stay until they closed. It was an extremely stressful environment and it makes me very sad that it ended that way 😢

The Beach was my favorite place to go as a child, I had so many amazing memories. I miss the lilly pads, high dive, log roll they took out years ago. In the very back they use to have goats you could pay a quarter to get feed for them and past that they built a slide that was only open for a few years maybe. It was a slide you could go down with a tube that turned into a lazy river and then a tunnel slide at the end. I remember getting air brushed tattoos, hula hooping on reggae sundays, eating dippin dots, and renting our own tube we could take to the wave pool. One year they threw money into the wave pool and blow up balls we got to collect. There was also scuba diving in the pearl. I miss walking on the hot sand and hurrying to get into the lazy river to cool my feet off. My favorite childhood memories play over in my mind from the beach, I'm so glad I got to experience it. We stopped going for years, When it opened back up after being sold I was able to experience it for 2 years before they closed for good. They had mikes harder slushies that were really good, you only needed 2 tops and you were done. It's so sad to see how much it had changed over the years, those last 2 years I went was nothing like how it was when I was younger. The rides were always closed or at least half of them were and their printer never worked.
