Wow Tez, you did a fantastic painting! That seemed like it would be a difficult painting but you “nailed it”! I am always fascinated at how you get the sand color and texture just right. And the blue of the stream and the sky reflections in it with the light continuously changing…don’t know how you also got that just right. Beautiful! I giggled when you were talking about the cold…it’s been in the 100’s here (middle of our summer). Thank you for making us feel a bit cooler. And thank you for spending part of your weekend doung paintings for us. 😊Can’t wait to watch you paint in the plein air paintout competition. 👍

G'day Nancy, thank you so much. Much appreciated. Yeah it was fun painting this one and I don't mind doing the odd sand dune painting. I thought if I get the shadows right it will turn out a pretty good painting. That's good that me talking about the cold weather made you feel a bit cooler. Our Winters in Sydney are very mild. It's not really a problem. You can always prepare for it with a couple of jumpers. Yes, I'm looking forward to next week. It's going to be such a challenge. I don't know how I'll go but I have confidence. I've just got to bring that to the canvas. Thanks Nancy and Happy painting 🎨🎨👍

Hi Sandra, thank you so much and much appreciated. I think with a painting like this if you can get the colours right and the shadows it will turn out okay. I was happy with the result.
